:carrot: Great job, 3beachgirls :carrot:
|
Thanks Renee. I am up and ready for a new day and a new challenge. I really love getting up and coming on this site. I am looking forward to losing the weight and watching what I eat instead of dreading what I can not eat.
|
Great job 3beachgirls!!! You are off to a terrific start. You have a great plan too. Focusing on what you can eat, and making sure that you keep moving. Good job, keep it up. :cheer2:
Renee, AAD, you both did good this week too. A little loss or no loss is better than any weight gain anyday. I am sure we will have a bigger loss this coming week. Remember to stay focused. :broc: |
Looks like another snowstorm blew in on eastern U.S.A. Are you all eating lots of warm soup?
|
Happy Monday all. Hope everyone is staying warm. Made it to 7 minutes on eliptical today. Curious? Do you have to be on site a certain amount of time to be able to use the My FitDay?
|
I don't know the answer to that one. I have never used it.
Good work with the elliptical!! |
Thanks Corinna...the eliptical really kicks my butt. Haven't gotten on it yet tonight. Busy day. Work was hectic, but I stayed on track with eating. Leave tomorrow for Central Florida Fair. My daughter is showing her sheep there. Lots of fun, but dreading all the good smelling vendors of funnel cakes and fries.....I am packing a cooler to limit temptations. Wish me luck.. Hope everyone has a great week...talk to you on Friday.

A Dieters Poem.... Don't quit!
DON'T QUIT When you've eaten too much and you can't write it down, And you feel like the biggest failure in town. When you want to give up just because you gave in, And forgot all about being healthy and thin. So what! you went over your allowance a bit. It's your next move that counts....SO DON'T YOU QUIT! It's a moment of truth, it's attitude and change. It's learning the skills to get back in your range. It's telling yourself 'you've done great up till' now', You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow. It's part of your journey toward reaching your goal. You're still gonna' make it, just stay in control. To stumble and fall is not a disgrace, If you summon the will to get back in the race. But often the strugglers, when losing their grip, Just throw in the towel and continue to slip... SO DON'T YOU QUIT!! [Greenbean shared this poem on line at http://caloriecount.about.com] |
Good luck 3beachgirls!!! Stay strong, but have fun. You can do it. :)

Good Morning Ladies And maybe someone here can give me some insight. I have lost weight this year by cleaning up my diet and stopping the mindless consumption of calories. I am now exercising. albeit at a much lower pace than I had been used to a decade ago.
This week my weight has fluctuated upwards! I am super careful with my calories. I am FRUSTRATED! Help me not lose hope. |
Lucindaarrowspark - we all go up and down in our weight from time to time. That is normal. My weight goes up and down a few pounds all through the week. How much weight are you talking about? A few pounds or 10 lbs plus? It is important to stay focused on your goal and know where you are headed. There are always some bumps on the way, however, you will and can make it to the finish line. We have all gone through it, so you are not alone. Don't let it get you down. Just let it empower you to stay strong. :cb: Hang in there. :cheer:

Today's weigh-in shows a 1.5 pound loss. Yippee! Slowly but steadily I am getting there.
:trampo: |
Down 1.4 lbs. :carrot:
Good job, Corinna :cp: |
Yippee Renee!!!!! Yippee, that's great. :) I knew you could do it!!!!! Good job!!!
:bravo: |
Start 1/20 @223.1# & Target = 198.1
