Hello friends
I have been on plan today, despite feeling a little snackish. Long workout this morning means that I still have a calorie deficit even though I am at the limit of my calories. Here is the day: Pre workout: (low bs upon waking) 1/2 protein bar, carb control yogurt Breakfast: apple, 2 tb PB2 Lunch: english cucumber spears, a little humus Football snack: bacon wrapped water chestnuts, veggie chips Supper: cornish game hen (no skin), baked sweet potato, green salad with lemon, skinny cow truffle bar Evening: dannon light and fit yogurt 72 oz water. 2 1/2 hours walkitout 1556 calories. 128 carbs Hoping for a good rest and a positive new week! I got off track last night and my weight was up 2# this am! I'm sure it's mostly the sodium as when I get off-plan it's usually the salty stuff. Think I'm going to have to set an alarm in the evenings as it is very easy for me to forget that I am only to eat every 2-3 hours.
Wow Rie 2 1/2 hours!! |
Morning all,
I haven't been by because I have been consumed with stained glass. Very helpful in keeping my fingers out of the proverbial cookie jar. I've been on track, although a little higher than I'd prefer. But I haven't been snackish as Rie put it. I often wonder if having larger meals keeps my snack demon away and overall I'd be less in calories. Any of you wondered that? Congrats to both Mary and Val on your losses. You both are doing great! Marie |
I had a great time on my weekend away although I definitely ate too much. Well I pretty much expected that. Today has been good though. The boss invited us to lunch today at Maggianos but I think I did okay by sticking to a bowl of sausage orzo soup and just a taste of the appetizers and one roll. I am going to really try to be good this week. Oh and I got in an hour of step class yesterday and today.

My weight was up 2# this am, so that scared me into doing better today. I ended today with 1080 calories. I also worked out at the gym. Hopefully the 2# is water and I'll lose it fast, but I am not expecting a loss this week.

Did ok today. Here is the List: Breakfast: apple, 2 tb PB2 Lunch: large soy latte on the road. Green salad Supper: 2 150 cal wonderslim bars, 8 oz wine Evening: dannon light and fit yogurt (low blood sugar) skinny cow bar 72 oz water. over one hours walkitout 1028 calories. 103 carbs Very busy day. |
Another On Plan day. WooHoo. Also one hour of strength training at the Y and 15 minutes of running before class.

You all are leaving me in the dust. I'm doing okay. I need to do better. I hate the morning munchies. I need to make DH go back to swing shift so that I can have my morning munchies and skip dinner since I rarely want to eat in the evenings.

On the one hand I am proud because I managed a decadent business dinner out and still stayed way under my calories and carbs for the day. On the other hand, I was miserable most of the afternoon and was too hungry. I had also planned for a desert and I was way too full from dinner. More balance throughout the day is what is needed.
Breakfast: apple, 2 tb PB2 Lunch: Green salad, 1/2 c tomato soup Supper: chicken breast cutlet with 1/2c crab meat and 2tb bernaise sauce, plain baked potato, green salad with a little ranch, 8 oz wine Evening: dannon light and fit yogurt 40 oz water. Not good over one hours walkitout 1177 calories. 112 carbs Good job to everyone else! Hang in there, Marie Very busy day. |
I dropped one of the pounds of water weight I'd put on and I was OP today so hoping to drop another pound or two by tomorrow. No exercise today though.
Calories were 1246 today and carbs were 140.8. My bs was very good. You guys are doing great on exercise! I'm looking forward to the gym tomorrow! |
Marie-If you saw my weight on the scale after last weekend you would know I am not leaving anyone in the dust. Why is it so easy to put it on?! Anyway, one day at a time. I am glad Mon and Tues went well and I am hoping for another On Plan day today. Hang in there Girl!
maryea-Congrats on losing the one. Hopefully you take on pound two at the gym today and be done with it. rie-Sorry to hear you were miserably hungry. Do you think your calorie totals might be a bit light? |
Just a quick note to say I did lose the other pound and am changing my sig since this is what I would have been the other day if I hadn't eaten too much salt! I'm about to go to the gym.

No time to post everything tonight. On plan. Calories: 1347, carbs, 123, not enough water.... fiber way up to 28 - Yay!
Keep going! Good job Mary! Rie |
Hello Challenge friends!
I had blood sugar in the low 70's today and I am not sure why.... I'm sure it will straighten out. On plan with excercising and menu. When I came home, ds had prepared a low fat roasted alfredo chicken and spagetti squash, and roasted cauliflower and mushrooms. I was a little concerned that it wasn't enough carbs. Ds told me then that he had made a sugar free apple crisp. It was wonderful.... Here is my menu for the day: Before workout: 1/2c fiber one with 2tbs ground flaxseed and 1/2 almond milk Breakfast: apple, 2 tb PB2 Lunch: Green salad, 1/2 c tomato soup, one hardboiled egg Supper: roasted red pepper chicken alfredo, spagetti squash, roasted cauliflower and mushrooms, apple crisp Evening: dannon light and fit yogurt 56 oz water. Not quite enough over one hours walkitout 1342 calories. 121 carbs I hope that everyone else is doing well. Rie |
Right now I'm still OP but I probably will eat something before I go to bed. I expect I'll be over by 100-200. Haven't made very good choices today. I only have MF pancakes, pudding and one shake left and I get tired of them only so I'm branching out...not so wisely today as I got tempted by the pizza in our freezer and ate two small slices or one big one like they serve in the food court.
Not good for my bs either! Hope to do better tomorrow. Exercise was very light...yoga stretch 40 min. |
