That was very funny! All this time, I have been blaming my jeans which weigh around 2 lbs!

My scale is my enemy. If I'm happy with the results I eat and if I'm unhappy with the results I eat so I have decided not to go on the scale. Instead, I have hung up a skirt I REALLY want to fit in to - right in the front of my closet & that's my goal. No more heavy towels for me!
Thanks for the smile

I would have just dropped the towel, wouldn't be the first time I removed items to get an "accurate" weight, (or at least to see a number that didn't make me feel bad).

At New Year we have dinner for our friends and they kept asking me , why do you have two scales. I said well they are sorta like switching channels to see which weather report you like ,get on one if you don't like what it says get on the other then take your pick!

I used to be effected emotionally by my scale. Now I use it as a tool. I weigh in the am and then before dinner which helps me plan my meal. When I do this it helps me. Sometimes I forget or eat too much anyway but usually I do well with my meals. But often like tonight I will throw it all away by overeating before bed!

That's funny! But when I weigh I have on as little as possible. So I blame it on water bloat or having to go to the bathroom

I don't like the scale...I find that the day to day ups and down make my crazy and I am more likely to over eat if the scale "tells me" that I have gained two pounds after eating 1,200 calories or less for three days in a row. I weight once a week and even then it can me maddening...

I am losing weight because I can SEE it in my losser cloths and FEEL it as I am more comfortable, fitting better into chairs and basically just moving around easier. For me stepping on the scale is counter productive and I am seriously considerinfg weighing only once and month.

Me? I`m so obsessive that I MUST weigh myself every morning.

Here`s my ritual the minute I wake up:

pee
strip off the nightgown
pull out my hair band
exhale as much as I can

then I think about cutting my hair, getting a manicure and pedicure to cut my nails

and then finally wonder if it might the sleepy sand in my eyes!
