Still trying to find my way around the forum. Just turned 51 the end of August. Don't know how that happened so fast but it did. Trying to lose around 80lbs and be more active instead of being just fat and tired.

Hi - Just joined. A lifetime of struggle with weight and food with some years having more success than others. The past 5-10 years have gotten worse -- my lifestyle and resolve have both plummeted. I'm tired of being tired, achy, and disgusted with myself. I'm tired of feeling confused and helpless about what to eat. I am very happy with the rest of my life, but food has proven a formidable foe. I am hoping this site will give me some direction.

Hi Bee and Krista, And welcome to 3FC's. I'm glad you found us. Come on in and get to know us. We've all been there. I'm a goal now and couldn't have done it without the support. I know, i've tried it before. I still come here almost every day. I still need the support because i want to keep the weight off too. And i've met some really nice people that I enjoy talking to.

Hi Krista and Beemom, I love this site. I made my way back to 3FC the beginning of September. I too am sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. So far I've lost 12#. I have found encouragement from all the threads, especially the over 50 and South Beach site. That's the plan I'm following. You follow the plan that works best for you. WW is great. I'm a lifetime member. I slowly gained all my weight back. This time it will be a life style change. Eating only what's good for me and exercizing. Make sure you try the recipe section. I have made some delicious dishes. We can do this battle together.
