First let me say, I love this thread! I'm able to see how everyone is progressing as well as myself! Terrific idea - you can count me in every month!

Mary - Thank you so much for the encouragement! As you well know, hearing how good one's progress is tends to be exciting!

I agree with Mary - everyone and a big

Keep it going!

Karen, you are SO right! Just received a very nice message of encouragement from one of the ladies here and it was such a morale boost to me! This losing weight thing is a real struggle and we need each other to push through it and reach our goals! I'm very thankful I found this site!

This thread is a great idea!!!
I want to set more "mini goals" but for now my goals are
1) stay on Core
2) walk daily even if it is a short walk
3) daily "read the Bible in a year" passage
4) bed by 12, up by 8

4/26 Stayed on core, read Bible passage, did not walk but worked in yard. Got up early which helps with sleep issues I have had!!
4/27 Stayed on core, #3 No , but went to church, walked while shopping, slept 12-8
4/28 Stayed on Core/No Walk/Read Bible/bed 2 up 8
4/29 cheated on diet after fight with husband/failed at other goals too/only good news is I did not shoot my Husband!!!! yet
4/30 did not stay on diet/not walking or sleeping right either
5/1 Ate great/ lost 2 pounds/slept normal hours

Well, today is the first day of my diet so nothing to report yet except to lament that I left my dining hall card at home so no lunch for me today!

I'm following the Mediterannean diet. I am really looking forward to supper tonight.

I think we have all done well, and Karen you have done really great!! You go, Girl!! I only lost a tiny bit but at least I lost and learned a lot about how I must be consistent with limiting my calories and learned (again) that snacks can be my downfall. Do I want this enough to be consistent and resist the snacks is my question to myself and I feel I really do so hopefully May will be the month I do it. I really like this type thread, so thanks for starting it.

Hi Mary!

This thread (and the ones like it) are so inspirational. You can look at how you fared for a month in one place. This is really the only thread I'm on here at 3FC. I look around from time to time, but mostly this one.

I'm so glad this thread was started! (Can't say that enough!)

Best to all in May!!!

I'm pretty happy with my April results, too . . . Here's hoping MAY will be great for every one of us, too.

Anyway, gang . . . try to get your final updating for April done today so I can close this succker down and move it out of the Sticky area.
