Hello, everyone

This is the first time attempting to receive support from the internet. I know that I do much better in loosing and then maintaining my weight loss with support. Sooooo, here I am. For the past 3 days I have been counting calories and 2 out of 3 days I have walked 45 minutes. I feel really uncomfortable with the 30 lbs . back on again. I sure do hope that I can loose it and keep it off. I have been yo yoing for soooo many years. I'm really tired. I almost didn't want to make a decision for fear that I will only gain it all back. I saw something the other day it said Dieting is HARD, Maintaining is HARD, Fat is HARD. Choose one. That really made a lot of sense to me. I want everything to be easy and natural. For me and my appetite that has never been the case. Oh well, nice to meet all of you and hope to hear from you. Talk to you soon, Only by His grace, Diane.

Welcome Diane, I assume you are over 50 as this area is geared towards us "older" chicks. There are several regular threads that you can choose to join.."Golden Girls" is the one I post on, but there are "Active folks over 50" and another about losing in 2008. Feel free to check out the posts on these threads and join right in. There is also an introduction thread (called a sticky) at the top of this forum page where you can introduce yourself. So Welcome!

Hi Diane...welcome aboard. The ladies here will help you thru the tough days and help keep you focused. And even after you get skinny you stay and maintain with us.....that's my dream anyway.

Didn't know there really was anything North of Willington! (except Philly)....Moved down here from the Eastern Shore of Md. What type diet are you using?
