Arrow Which thread would you recommend?

This has gotten to be a complex forum! I'm 50# years, female, have 120# too many pounds on me. I'm less interested in challenges right now (I've 'failed' too many and am looking for different sorts of risks), than steady, positive support. If you a) would be interested in a "buddy" or b) have one of the threads to recommend, please let me know.
Thanks.

I would recommend the monthly points challenges. You decide on a eating plan, exercise plan and how much water you want to drink every day. Each day you get 2 points if you stay on your eating plan, 1 point for exercise and 1 point for drinking enough water. It's a fun competition to see who has the most points at the end of the month. We start a new challenge at the beginning of each month. GL!

Most of the threads are pretty specific as to what they cover. We try to do a general chat thread every now and then. They tend to fall by the wayside though. You'll see the challenge threads will have the word "challenge" in them and then most of the others will occassionally be food/exercise/anything else related. If you don't find one that has the answers you seek, then start your own thread and tell us about it.

Default Thanks.

OK. I'll be looking for new points challenges!
I drank enough water today AND walked.... The Cadbury egg(s) after dinner were NOT on my food plan, though.

Hi painterwoman,

The 100lb club is great for any support and advice you need, but I thought you might also be interested in the group on the Support Group Forum called 'Steel Magnolia's' which is a group of 50+ ladies losing weight.

Love Amanda x
