My goal is simply to make the necessary food choices from now until solstice, hopefully to see the changes I want. Hello, SolsticeFae, and welcome to you! A 3 month goal sounds smart, they say it takes about 90 days to make lasting lifestyle changes because that's how long it takes for a change to become a habit, so I think you've got a good idea there!
Thank you Dee and Dorothea for the welcomes. Its been a slow start to getting on board with making the right choices. Being in the middle of a move means I've not had time to get organized just yet. Once the dust settles I can get my kitchen organized and get a routine. In the meantime I'm learning a lot just by reading this forum when I get chance.
Welcome Solstice. Good luck. I have found writing down everything I eat, right down to one almond really helps me stay on track. Fitbit has a free app - you don't have to have the fitbit to use it to track food and exercise. I love to cook and understand the no kitchen thing - but cutting up lettuce and veggies and roasting chicken doesn't take much.
