Default New Here :)

Hi all, I'm new to this forum and weight loss in general. I guess I really didn't pay much attention to my weight before - unfortunately - I just accepted my own unhappiness. I would diet but never stick with it and well, before you know it, you've gained another 30 pounds. Now my "goal" weight is the weight that I was unhappy with three years ago.

Anyway, my husband and I have started WW and I've stuck with it for two weeks today. My first week I lost 4 pounds. So did my husband. This week, he lost 3 and I gained 1. So that was kind of depressing, but I spent a lot of time on these forums this morning and you people seem pretty fantastic so I figured it was time to join in, offer support where I can and also get support from other women!

So that's all

Welcome! Glad you're here and wanting to make a change for your life. That's great! Don't let the number on the scale discourage you too much. I focused too much on that when I was on weight watchers and it hindered me more than it helped. Use that gain as motivation to do better next week but don't beat yourself up about it. This is a fitness journey, there will be losses and gains...trust me. Excited for you and your journey luv!

Exactly. Constant reminders to yourself, remembers its okay to not be perfect will help you.
