Michelle, last summer when our old TV broke we sprang for a smart tv that can pick up our wireless internet connection directly, so it's a snap to stream from amazon. Before that TV we streamed through our Wii, which can also pick up a wireless connection. Most game consoles can pick up wireless these days and can be used for streaming, and I think dvd/bluetooth players are also incorporating this technology. I'm not usually that big on new fads - I'll adapt but I won't get rid of something that still works just to get the latest thing - but I do love the ability to stream so seamlessly on our tv!

My son got my DH a new BluRay player that hooks up to the internet and streams Netflix and Hulu, but not Amazon Prime. We rarely use it for that anyway. I've been thinking of the Amazon Fire for TV streaming. My DD has a Roku and really likes that. It's all too technologically challenging for me. I'll wait until DS is back home from college and let him set anything like that up for us.
