Hey everyone,

I just bought a new vitamix and would love some recipe for smoothies and soups.

I know I can look them up on internet but can get expensive if you have to buy ingredients and don't like it.

I've had mine a couple weeks and love it! I actually use mine more for chopping veggies right now than for recipes but if you go on Pinterest and search Vitamix you'll pull up tons.

I love smoothies

I have a base recipe I use and love that can easily be altered to any liking

1 cup greens (spinach, kale, arugula, lettuce, etc.)
1.5 - 2 cups fruit ( I like mango, strawberry, blueberry, pineapple)
3/4 - 1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup greek yogurt or kefir
*optional*
1 banana
ground flax seed
chia seeds
ground oats

Sometimes you just have to play with the measurements a little to get the consistency you prefer! Also I usually split this into 2 servings and drink one in the morning and the rest for a snack later

ENJOY your new blender!!!! I have a ninja and its great but I hear the vitamix is top notch
