I wasn't sure exactly where to put an intro... I wasn't sure if I should start on the bio page or what..so if this is in the wrong place, I'm very sorry.
Anyway! I did South Beach a few years ago and felt great.. and lost 20lbs.. I slowly worked my way off of maintenance (oops) and tried a more Paleo kind of thing.. unfortunately, I evidently took that as an excuse to eat tons of fat.. (oops 2x) which I wasn't able to burn off because I wasn't exercising as much as I should.. also, didn't eat as many veggies as I should..
So, all of my weight came back with friends... I'm back on the Beach, starting at phase 2ish.. going to keep the wheat and grains limited to one or two a week and no sugars. Stevia and a touch of honey occassionally. Carrot sticks are my go-to for snacks so I hesitate to start on phase one.. we'll see how it goes.
