Unhappy Embarrassing Question

Sooo this is raelly embarrassing but it's bothering me a lot. I have a very fatty mons pubis, and I'm worried that it won't shrink as I lose weight. I've lost 55 lbs already and it doesn't seem to be smaller at all, in fact it's sticking out more than ever. Also the fat on it is weird - it's very bumpy and not firm at all, and the skin is quite thin. I think it's disgusting and I'm scared that I won't ever have a normal sex life because I feel deformed.

Has anyone had a similar problem and did it eventually resolve itself??

What's your current height and weight?

Bumpy? Might be good to see a doctor, bumps don't sound okay.

I agree that it might be good to see a doctor, just to put any fears to rest.

How much more weight do you have to lose?

By the way, I have the same problem to an extent, and let's just say, my boyfriend loves it the way it is. I won't give you details, but he REALLY likes it. I would especially like to reference that scene from Eat/Pray/Love where the main character asks her friend, "Have you ever taken your clothes off and have a guy run away?" Of course the answer is no.

*hugs* I know these kinds of things are hard to deal with.

I've lost 160+ pounds, and never knew I had that much fat there, but apparently I did, as it is all loose skin now! My plastic surgeon says that will be mostly fixed during my TT&BL this summer. I will try and come back and let you know my results!

Ah, the lovely fupa. Mine has gotten slightly smaller but it has taken a long time with very little reduction. I think it might be here to stay on me, although as bony as some areas on me are and my hubby doesn't have any extra weight some cushion there might not be a bad thing. Sorry if it was tmi, lol.

^^^THIS!^^^

I've lost right at 50 and I've noticed that it is decreasing in size. My hubby has noticed it too. So far, no loose skin there....but I also have 100+ more pounds to go. I know how much you weigh and how long you've been overweight and how quickly you gained greatly impact things like this.

I'm messing with you!

But seriously, I am going to the surgeon tomorrow for my pre-op, and am going to ask him more specific details about this topic, and will report back!

I am only laughing because I read that and went.."Oh. Well. Yep, never thought of that either!" Funny how somethings just NEVER cross your mind and once it does you either roll with the punches or figure a way out of it. I decided rolling would be funner...you know, that way all my extra skin will kinda be like some sort of propeller fan or something. Or a blob monster. That works too. The visual of myself just greatly amused me.

Sometimes, you just have to laugh, else all you will do is cry.

Ikesgirl please let us know how it goes. I also want to have mine "lifted" when they do my tummy tuck!

There was a girl on Reddit who did it, they called it a "mons lift" with her tummy tuck. She liked the results.

I'm not having the mons lift, but was told when they did the tummy tuck, it would be pulled tight and help my upper thighs also.

I have to ask you ladies, what about like Palmer's and other creams? No luck? Is surgery the only way? I'm so scared of going under the knife!

What is the difference between mons lift and just getting the skin tightened? I guess I thought it was the same thing, but I haven't been to see a surgeon yet.
