25 Pounds Lighter
I joined here last year, lost 30 lb. and then ended up gaining it all back (plus about 6 extra pounds). I made excuses about not having enough time or money to eat right. Well, in October, I was diagnosed with heart disease at the age of 31. My doctor said my genetics are so bad that I could be 100 lb. and probably still have it, but this extra weight and an unhealthy lifestyle certainly don't help. I had a 70 percent blockage of one of my arteries, so I had to have a stent put in it. I don't ever want to feel that way again!
I've totally changed my diet and have lost 25 lb. in a little more than two months. My cholesterol is 111 and my blood pressure is great -- usually around 110/70. I have a LOT of weight left to lose (about another 129 lb.), but I'm finally starting to feel like I can do it.
