I was really lethargic until I got my blood sugar and eating under control. So for me, it was enough calories throughout the day... and healthy foods. I still get whipped sometimes, even now though!
im thinking it's a sugar issue? I think my body is still in shock from the lack of excess sugars and my caloric intake went from 3500 calories a day to about 1100.
when i slashed my calories my sex drive took a dive and my husband (of less than a year!) was very confused. when i upped them so it was less of a deficit, my energy and sex drive came back. make sure you haven't cut your calories too low, and that you're getting enough protein and healthy fats to feel satiated.
1100 is too low for anyone, unless you're one of those doctor supervised diets. Have you thought of going to 1400-1600 with 30-60 minutes of daily exercise?
Or maybe your mood has been knocked down by the mental part of dieting. You're so worried about your weight that maybe you feel you shouldn't be having sex? If your boyfriend is ripping his hair out over it, then he's obviously still attracted to you enough to want to have sex with you.
(You could do what I did. Get lingerie that covers the "trouble" areas you feel you have, so that you can feel sexier by not seeing them in the mirror.)
It could be an evolutionary mechanism within your body. If you suddenly start starving and drastically reducing your caloric intake, your body knows its not the best time to be having babies. I assume one of the very first ways it would affect you (before severe things like stopping ovulation) would be to dampen your sex drive. Just a thought...

That's very insightful, and likely very correct. We forget that the female body was made for procreation, and the body will try to protect itself. I also agree with KRAMPUS, that you need to eat more, and make sure what you do eat has a high nutrient value.
And, I always take a good quality daily Vitamin with Minerals; everyone should do that when trying to lose weight, just to be on the safe side.
