Hello everyone,

I have had a very bad week with terrible foot/heel pain due to plantar fasciitis.
Needless to say I didn't exercise at all since Monday. I am feeling better already but the pain is a constant. At least I am not screaming in pain with tears rolling down when I wake up. That's improvement.
I ate OK in terms of low carb but more calories than I should have and didn't burn ANY since I could barely walk.
The bad thing is that I am an elementary teacher and being on my feet is the daily reality…….a very painful one for this past week, I tell ya!

I am using stretching exercises for the calk and fascia and wearing a splint at night. I bought special shoe inserts (heel cups, etc) for at work.

So,
SW 8/8: 243.2
8/14: 239.4 ( minus 3.8 lbs this week)
8/21: 234.3 (minus 5.1 for the week, minus 8.9 since starting on this thread, minus 16.2 since July)
8/27: 235.5 (1.2 more than last week) :(

1st GW: 193.2 on December 31st 2016 (truly anything under 200 would be a major success!!!)
Final GW: 170 or 165 by May 2017

One day at a time. I am not going to force exercise as this condition will become chronic. I was told to stay off my feet……..what a joke, right?
I am staying off my feet as much as I can but - with my job (which I do WELL) can't happen.
So, one day at a time. I might have to cut calories down this coming week since I am not burning as much.

Hope you all have a great week!

GOOD JOB on moving the right direction. A loss is a loss, no matter how slow or fast!

I'm jumping in! I'm going to try to be AS CLOSE TO MY GOAL WEIGHT AS I CAN by 12/31/16!!!! Goal weight....as of now, anyway, is 165. It's kinda hard to say, for sure, what I want goal to be since I've been overweight my entire adult life! I may do some tweaking on that! But, I'd LOVE to be a size 8-10 pants!!! I am in a 14 now ....I can button and zip my 12's but...... if I sneeze someone's losin' an eye! My oldest son (I have 3) is getting married 11/26/16 so I'm really wanting to shed as much as possible before then!

A little about myself..... I'm a stay at home mom of 3 boys (2 of which are still at home.....1 is in 5th grade and 1 is in 6th), I will soon become a mother-in law and gain a, then, 4 year old grandson as well as having another grandchild (sex unknown) on the way (due in March). I have been married to my husband for 12 years and we live on a small cattle farm. We have 30 cows right now (the lowest number we've ever had!), 3 donkeys, 35 chickens, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 pigeons and will be getting a miniature horse tomorrow (it's owner passed away and had requested that we take it in).....and, if my middle child gets his way, we'll be getting some ducks soon....all on a 48 acre farm! Our schedules are ALWAYS crazy...between my husbands job, a HUGE project that my husband and I are working on, school, church, sports, the farm, helping with my husband's dad's farm (he's got about 90 acres and over twice the amount of cattle....and he'll be 80 in October!), helping to care for my husband's 93 year old grandmother, civic organizations and housework, it seems we never get it all done! It makes it really hard to get in my workouts, sometimes, as well as stay on track with my diet! The stress that comes with it doesn't make it any easier either. So, I've had a lot of loses/gains/loses/gains/I QUIT/I gotta get it goin' again!!!! Hopefully, this time I see it through!!!

Good Luck everyone!

HW: 292 (8/12)
LW: 189.8 (8/16) .....after a LOT of ups and downs, tears, tantrums, quitting and restarting!
CW: 197.8 (today)
GW: 165

Happy Sunday!

Welcome Jb1975, this is a good time to take care of your health. You are doing great and have a lot of responsibilities. I am happy that you are taking on this journey with all of us.

Sorry, that I am posting late! I promise to post and will do an overview on 12/31/16 no matter what my scale reads! The thought of going on my scale scares me most days. I make myself do it. I will never ignore my "friend" the scale again. "Friend" might be pushing it at this point. Lol

CW: 191
GW: 147

Have a great week! Post in good/bad scale times!

Hi Ladies,

8/14: 239.4
8/21: 234.3

1st GW: 193.2 on December 31st 2016 (truly anything under 200 would be a major success!!!)

Jb1975 09-07-2016 08:10 AM

Well, I've had a big jump. I hate when I'm going the wrong way! Please, Lord, help me see a positive change for all my hard work!

Texaslittlelady1 09-07-2016 08:54 PM

Bad day going to bed!

Hard week :snow4:too! This time last year, I was really ill (like almost dead). I have changed my life for the better. It sucks, that I have not hit my weight loss goal.

I am here on earth, in a new state/job with a good life. I just want to be a good wife, mom and employee. Some days, I get so darn depressed. I have lost so many people (babies, mom, dad and sister). The weight is just part of my issues.

It just a hard day! Thanks
:snow4:

Texaslittlelady1 09-07-2016 09:18 PM

Do not give up!

100% my poor choices, 100% accountable for it.

Back on it!
Will weigh in and post next weekend.
Good luck everyone!

I just wanted to say "keep moving forward and YES we can do this!"

It is great that you are being "accountable" and not giving up.

For me, I am writing down each day what I eat and if I exercised (at least until 12/31/2016). I also take a lot of selfies:sunny:
I always need to see my progress or I have a history of giving up!
