Oh, I love roasted root vegetables myself! I completely understand. :)

So far my good choice was limited- I had a vendor lunch I had to attend at a Chinese restaurant, no less. I allowed myself only one plate of food, and some fruit for desert. It's better than I would normally do, but still too much food.

You guys are inspiring, it's so hard to fight the cravings and/or do the right thing, knowing I'm not the only one fighting with myself helps.

My good choice today was to going back to jogging after I had to walk a bit, I managed to get a total of 30minutes, after two days of hill profiles on the bike my legs were not wanting to do it. I made it 17.5 mins. then got myself to jog 5 mins then 7.5 more and felt great for doing it.

I can totally overdo on good stuff and not so good stuff...today Chinese would have been a challenge for me.

Best to all :sunny:

I think I only made one GOOD choice today, that was drinking all my water today...at least I made one :)

My good choice was staying added-sugar-free. I think that makes 5 days now -- woo hoo!

I really wanted a muffin for breakfast this morning. Instead of going to the bakery down the street and getting one there (which are incredibly delicious but loaded with calories and fat) I went to Trader Joe's and got some blueberry bran muffins. They're great, really filling and are only 220 calories.

Good choice, veloria, and :welcome:

Walking (slowly) on my treadmill as I work on a big project.

I decided to get back on the wagon after a terrible weekend.. well not terrible but I shot a wedding (I am a photographer on the weekends) and ate the 5 course meal provided for me - although I did only eat one profiterole instead of the two for desert I was still a bad bad girl.. :o

And Heidi you're profile pic looks awesome!

and as usual Mrs Snark you have made me laugh.. and laugh and laugh!! :carrot:

After eating 2 Thanksgiving meals I am on the treadmill, instead of the couch. I have only taken 1/3 of my typical steps today! To much time in the car and at the table.

ETA: I was almost finished with my steps when I decided to start up C25K again. :) I am well over my step goal for the day.

I skipped the mashed potatoes, the stuffing, and the candied yams AND I had only a tiny sliver of pumpkin pie with NO whipped cream.

I stayed on-plan through Thanksgiving (without feeling miserable, too!). Yippee!

kelijpa 11-29-2013 09:38 PM

Ate on plan today, got on the exercise bike for 50 minutes, yay!

Look! A whole new month to fill with great decisions!

Happy December!

Ran 4 miles instead of my usual 3.11 this morning, putting just a little something extra in the health bank! You're welcome, body.

kelijpa 12-01-2013 04:47 PM

Made it out for a walk in the snow with the little dog, 3.22 miles in the woods in the snow, felt great to be outside!

Happy December!!

I didn't stay on plan with the food over Thanksgiving, but I did stay on plan (and then some) on my exercise. I did a couple workout videos each day. I stayed sore pretty much the entire time, but I consider sore good as it means I'm stressing my body enough to get it to change. I'm trying to do both cardio and resistance training.
