Daily Accountability Thread

  • Hi, everyone!

    I hope you don't mind, with me being new here and all, me starting an accountability thread we can all post our daily goals in. I'm in need of a thread that'll help me stay accountable every day at this point! I've had a difficult time staying focused on my weight loss over the last month and have lost very little weight. It's time for me to get a move-on!

    Anyone care to join me???

  • Okay, I'll start with my goals for Saturday, October 2nd.

    Today I will...

    ~ Drink water all day (after already having had my glass of ice tea this morning) - Check!

    ~ Put in 20 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes with weights - Check!

    ~ Eat exclusively vegetarian (beans, veggies, and fruit) - Check!

    ~ Stay active, not sitting around - Check!

    ~ Hopefully lose one pound by tomorrow (143 lbs) - Check! (Actually weighed 142 this morning! Yaay! )


    We can do this, you guys!! Woohooo!!

  • Accountability thread for Sunday, October 3rd.

    Come join me if you need accountability and encouragement for today, guys!


    My goals for today (A lot like yesterday's - I suspect it will often be this way)...

    ~ Drink water all day - Check!

    ~ Eat primarily vegetarian (fruits, veggies, and beans) - Check!

    ~ 20 minutes on the treadmill (pick up the pace!), and 10 minutes of weights - Check!

    ~ Be active all day, no sitting around - Check!

    ~ Lights out no later than 12:30 a.m. - Check!

    ~ *Maybe* get down to 141 tomorrow. I won't hold my breath, though, as 4 pounds is a lot to lose in 48 hours. I'll be happy with a couple tenths of a pound or no gain. - Check!


    Wish me luck, team! I'm off to the races! I hope you'll join me.

  • Hello, and welcome to Monday, October 4th!

    I hope yesterday was a great and productive day for you all, and I do hope some of you will join me in keeping track of daily goals here.

    Yesterday went well for me, but I found myself hungry before bed! I think my dinner salad was too light and needed more calories. I'll have to work on that today.

    On the upside, I did lose another pound! I've lost four pounds in just a couple/few days, which is unusual for me at this stage in the game. I'm guessing it's because I took some time off dieting, basically, in the month of September, only losing two pounds in a month. Therefor, my weight loss right now is primarily water, I'm sure.

    Regardless, I'll take the loss over a gain!

    So, today's goals....

    ~ Drink water all day - Check!

    ~ Eat primarily vegetarian - Check!

    ~ Be aware of calories (not too much, or too little) - Check!

    ~ 20 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes of weights - Check!

    ~ Stay active all day - Check!

    ~ Don't 'sample' dinner while cooking (it's going to be a fattening meal for the family ... I could blow my day just 'tasting' for correct seasoning! ) Check!-

    ~ Lights out by 12:30 - Check!

  • Tuesday October 5th
    Today I will....
    exercise 20 or more minutes on wii fit plus. ( I already did 10)
    Stay within my calorie range
  • Today I will:
    - eat what my wellness coach said to (even if I think it's too much food)
    - drink two qts of water
    - work out on the tread climber tonight after the babies are in bed
    - try not to hunt down and kill the man who invented dirty dishes, cellulite and high-heels
    - stay positive.
  • Hi, girls! I'm glad you could join me. It's so much more fun doing this with friends.

    For me, today will be pretty much identical to yesterday. Yesterday went really well and I got down to 139 lbs! Yay!

    My goals for Tuesday, October 5th...

    ~ Drink water all day - Check!

    ~ Eat exclusively vegetarian - Check!

    ~ Be extra careful of calories - Check!

    ~ 20 minutes on the treadmill (pushing harder), and 15 minutes of weights - Check!

    ~ Stay active all day - Check!

    ~ Ugh! Dinner for the family tonight is going to be soooo tempting to nibble on! Just say no!! - Check!

    ~ Lights out by 12:30 - Check!

  • I meet all goals and exceeded one! I worked out 27 minutes. Today's goals are about the same as yesterdays.
    Tuesday October 6th
    Today I will....
    exercise 20 or more minutes on wii fit plus.

  • I did great yesterday and I am so proud of myself so far.

    My biggest goal today is to stay away from junk food. Eat my veggies. Stay on plan and get some exercise. 1 mile with the dvd probably, this evening.

  • I only have a few simple goals for today, Saturday, October 9th, which is almost over (it's after 6 p.m.).

    I've eaten light and well all day today, but my activity has been low and will remain low for the rest of the day.

    For the remainder of the day I will...

    1~ Continue to eat light and healthy - Check!

    2~ Drink a bunch of water (it's been an ice tea day for me!) - Check!

    3~ Lights out by 1 a.m. (stayed up til all hours last night!) - NOoooo! Fail! I need to get my act together and get my bunz to bed on time!!

    I feel distracted today, so I'm really going to have to force myself to focus on food/calorie intake.

    Well, I got to bed on time last night, after two nights of staying up too late. I'm still a little run down, so I think it's going to take another night to get caught up on my lost sleep.

    I should exercise... Should. teehee! I feel too tired, to be honest. But today is going to be a big day for physical activity; lots to do! Hopefully, I'll get plenty of sleep tonight and be well rested tomorrow, then I'll get in a good workout tomorrow! ... ...
