I'm riding the yo yo too, but I can tell you that when I was keeping the weight off the critical thing was making everything necessary to maintain my weight a habit. If I don't have to think about it, if it's just what I do, then it works. My big problem came when something threw a monkey wrench into my new good habits and I had to actually think about what I was doing again. Instead of forming a backup plan I reverted to older habits, the ones that got me fat in the first place.
