Congrats PeanutsMom for sinking to a new low.

Glad to see you newleaf and it sounds like you are making the adjustments you need.

The scale said 132 today, which is my goal for the month. I hope it sticks.

As for my fitness goals, I haven't been too great about them. I exercise nearly every day, but haven't done strength training or interval work.

I think I can work harder on my fitness goals after my vacation is over. I'm leaving in a week and there is no point in risking injury. I can't believe in exactly 7 days, I will be on Amtrak going to Chicago. I haven't had a vacation outside my immediate area in over 6 years.

Motivated Chickie, I hope you have a wonderful vacation.

thanks Ivy, newleaf and motivated chickie! Sounds like you are all doing well too!!

I was 220.6 yesterday, but didn't weigh this morning yet, woke up too early! I found that there could be a pretty big swing between 4:30 when I woke up and my normal WI time of 6:30, so I'll report back later! Probably won't hit the teens today, but hopefully, I'll keep inching closer.

broke into the 2-teens this morning, down to 219.4!! I'm trying to keep this challenge more about staying on plan than making any specific number a goal, but I can't say that I wasn't hoping I'd get there this month. And hopefully, I'll spend less time in the teens than I did in the 20s (since I put back on almost 7 lbs in the 20s that I had to take back off again!!)

Well, I'm losing about 1 lb a week of which I am happy about. I really can't complain as long as I am losing and not gaining. I have to admit though that it has been really hard, not just eating what I want. It really takes a conscious decision when I'm reaching for something and I know I shouldn't be eating it.

Here are my original goals, with my outcome:

(1) Maintain my weight for the entire month; 5/26 will mark 1 month from my surgery and I can begin exercising with intent again.

>> met this. I was 162.5 at the beginning of the month, and 161.5 today at the end of the month. I was up this morning from the long weekend. More typically my weight has been fluctuating between 159.5 and 160.5. At one point I had hoped to keep off the weight I lost from not eating for many days due to surgery but that didn't happen. I'm fine with that. I feel like I'm in a good spot to now start moving downward again.

(2) Walk every day as a therapeutic measure.

>> somewhat met this. I did walk every day through my recovery period. Now that I am back to doing everything, this has dropped off. But I try to walk most days. So, I would give myself a B on this.
