I'll be 40 in January and am looking to lose 50-60 pounds. I'm tired of being fat and tired! Many of my friends do not have weight issues, so they don't understand how I struggle each day--just like a drug addict.
My husband can lose weight without trying, so he doesn't get it, either. He tries to understand (kind of), but he doesn't have a clue!!
I'm looking forward to reading about everyone's tips, successes, and struggles. It will help me realize that I am not alone in this Battle of the Bulge!!
Trust me, you'll hear about mine!
The hardest part right now is seeing any progress at all! I've been working on this for a week now and when the scale doesn't budge, I get really frustrated. Then I eat some ice cream or something to make me feel better. Then I feel worse and I eat again. It's a vicious cycle.
However, seeing that other folks are winning the Battle one day at a time, I promise I will not grab a spoon or fork when I feel down. That is my goal for the next week!
TTFN,
Susan
