Very low carb homemade protein bars, is it possible?

  • Anyone have a recipe for such a thing? It can have fat, but very, very low carb. I'm ok with using splenda, but not wheat and oats and rice... I have been using atkins stuff, but it's so pricey!
  • I haven't tried any of these personally, but they seem to meet your requirements...most require flavored protein powder however, and that can be a bit pricey too

  • I wonder if that is the thread I just found! Yep! It is! Too funny. That does look perfect. Protein powder can be bought cheaper in various places and those Atkins bars are $1-2 a piece! And I'm sure has stuff I don't need.p
    Oh, and thank you!
  • wow, she has a lot of combinations! let us know how it turns out. i'm sure there's so many people that would like to make it too.
  • http://www.genaw.com has some. It's a very popular website among low carbers, especially Atkins. You should check out some of her recipes, they're yummy!
