Rip
I just found out that my close cousin died this evening from a heart attack. I can't believe it. I'm hurting for her and her daughter who is only 7yrs old. Also her mom, who is my aunt. Her passing makes me think about the unhealthy choices that i'm making in my life. I want to pay tribute to her by living better. This is hard.

Thank you all for your kind words. I'm waking up with tears in my eyes. It makes things so real. I love my cousin so much. It brings things home and stress the reality of the situation. Being overweight and living unhealthy has serious consequences. I was also thinking, February is American Heart Month. It makes me think is eating those things that may taste good to my tongue but bad for my health worth it?
