My food choices are pretty boring but here ya go.

I don't really do a breakfast, lunch, dinner type thing. I eat 6 small meals a day and they consist usually of the following -

2 whole eggs which I usually cook with spinach but sometimes I just like them hard boiled
1/2 cup fat free jello pudding
fat free yogurt
2-3 servings fruit (usually apples or grapes)
1oz cheddar cheese
2 large dill pickles
6 slices of sliced turkey breast
4oz chicken breast
10oz cauliflower (which I roast)
10oz broccoli or zucchini (this is always added to my chicken)
2-3oz onion (I am not too strict when weighing these or mushrooms either)
2-3oz mushrooms
sliced cucumbers
If I am having a salad, I use a huge bowl of lettuce and toss in some other veggies and I don't add any dressing
1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese with 1/2 cup canned pineapple in juice

My calorie count has been staying under 1500 calories for the most part but I have had my slip ups No one is perfect.

Changing eating habits is not easy so don't beat yourself up over it. I would suggest small steps. Also, for me, not having the junk food available in the house works out well. When I have a craving for chips or candy, I turn to some veggies or fruit and/or some form of exercise/activity. And fast food places, in the beginning, for me were a huge no-no. I just made them off limit, period. It sucked but it got better.

You just have to figure out what will work best for you and your life and what you can do for life. Don't think of it as a diet but more of a lifestyle change because if you are like me, you want to be healthy for life .

If you will do a search for posts made by rockinrobin, you will find some excellent advice on eating habits and her glorious veggie volumetrics idea that I love

ETA: The above is what works for me and in no way, shape or form am I claiming my way to be the way for everyone . I believe that everybody and every body is different and what works for one may not work for another.

Eliana, Thanks for your post. Yeah, I really don't think mine is weight related. When I weighed 133 and was a size 6/8, I had reflux just as bad as I do now.
However, I really think that my diet/exercise has a lot to do with it.

Your bp was pretty high. Did you get doctor's clearance to do that kind of exercise? I think if I ran up/down stairs really fast, my hr would be at its max, you know?
