I just tried the Jules Benson Core Pilates video. Itis definitely not a calorie burner (which I find to be true of most Pilates - at least I don't get my hear rate up), but what an ab burner
!
I would watch the moves first & then join in if you'v never done any pilates. I had only done a couple of DVDs before, but found her easy to follow & she keeps it moving. It is long (almost a full hour with warm up & stretch), which is nice. Abs/core are the focus, as the name promises, but she also has a KILLER leg workout.
I'm really looking forward to incorporating this into my regular routine. I can imagine that this DVD will shape my core & hips/thighs...and I worked hard BUT didn't feel like I was going to fall over when I was done (as is typically the case post-Jillian!!
). Sometimes, I just need a non-cardio workout...
