Yeah it's embarrassing sometimes....I do like being in the spotlight but not when people start gushing to me about my weight loss. It does get better with time...it's just something you are gonna have to grin and bear to get what where you want to be.
I would take a "you look great" but I agree about the gushing. I know that I am overweight and don't want to be reminded of it by everyone I know when I start losing weight.
(in a kind of bashful, smile, look down, thank people profusely for the honour of their compliment kind of way)
