Smile Christmas and New Years weight gain.

I am doing kind of a self prescribed Low Carb diet. It had been working well with minor set backs here and there. I lost 15 pounds. I made it through Thanksgiving okay and still maintained that loss.

Now Christmas and New Years comes along and I gained back 5 pounds. I do not consider this a bad thing as with low carb there is always a spring back of 4-6 pounds, and I expected this. With the Garbage I ate at the holidays I am surprised to not have gained it all back! I am back on my plan in the new year and looking forward to being healthy (with the occasional cheat, of course). I am starting to exercise at my job with the onsite fitness membership I have so that should also help me get to goal.

Anyone else have any holiday gains to rant about?

Well, I got under 200 - 198!! - just after Thanksgiving...had a week that I worked my BUTT off and only lost .4 - got mad, binged for a few days and gained back 4lbs that I have since worked only half off.

Hmpf. Who woulda thought those calories that I don't write down still count!?

I gained about 3 pounds - thats 1 lbs per turkey dinner!
