Sandy - The thing that worked for me in getting going was promising myself to do a minimum of 10 minutes a day, no matter what - even if it was just marching in place in front of the TV. It got me out of the cycle of procrastination and emotion about exercise. Nike really has it right with their slogan - "just do it". Don't think about it, do worry about it - just get started. But don't think you need to start by doing a whole lot. That can be totally intimidating. Also find what works for you. If you are not a morning person, don't try and get up in the morning to exercise. Find something you enjoy (at least don't hate

) and that makes it easier as well.
