NEW fat chick in town~~~SHE IS HERE TO LOSE THE FAT
Well Hello everyone!! I just found this web site and I love it!! I have a new attitude and outlook on life. Nothing major has happened, I just finally got the itch to lose the weight. My sister and my best friend are losing weight together. We have quite the support, but I still need the outside support. I weighed in at WW at 360, my first week I lost 3.6 pounds!!! I am happy with that....I did not make major changes my first week, but I am rip rarin to go this week. I do not like the 300's at ALL!!! But soon it will be back in the 200's. Any advice and buddy support would be more than appreciated. Thank you!!!
hello and welcome. this is a great group of people. i too am like you i dont like the 300s at all but shall soon hit the twos if my scales will cooperate this week lol
Welcome to the 300+ area! We're glad to have you joining us. Please check out the "sticky" thread above marked for "NEWBIES". It has some tips for navigating in our area.
Sweetbaby - Welcome to 3FC! I definitely think that you can never get enough good support. That is great that you have your sister and best friend and that you have found us here. Please feel free to jump right in to the numbered threads.
I'm new here too and I think the ladies on here are just awesome!!!! These women amaze me with their will power and determination, they are open and are not afraid to share their struggles and triumphs with others. They are strong, beautiful, and more confident than some skinny people I know. Amazing! I know you will love this place!!!
Hello every one I am also new here actually I am new to the whole chatroom/threads thing...and ya'll seem very nice and I look forward to getting to know yall..................Also I have not really choice weight loss method yet all I know is I woke this morning and thought to my self ''My quailty of life sucks'' and it is finally time to change things...any suggestions ( atkins, southbeach, WW, the zone....????)
I think a lot of us have tried almost every diet going. Well, I have not tried a lot of the 'gimmick' diets except for Atkins (which I HATED, I'm not a big meat eater).
Atkins <-- hated it, but I did lose 10 pounds in one month (went off it after that)
WW <-- didn't lose much on it, found the 'weigh in' humiliating and frustrating
Body for life <-- worked GREAT, but LOTS of planning and work
Now I'm doing a combo of Body for life and burn the fat feed the muscle plans, modified to fit my lifestyle and body type.
You have to find what works with your life, what makes you lose, and what you can LIVE with for long term.
Read up on the plans, what elements you like about them, and start there. This time around I am charting my calories using fitday's website too, and that is making a real difference. I can see how much I am eating.
