good morning all! i finally reached my 30 pound loss! now i am off here to start my treadmill!
|
Sharon -- I hope Aiden feels better and you get a chance to rest.
Patti -- yeah! 30 pounds!! :carrot: |
Good Morning
All is okay here in Central West Virginia , we had a terrible lightening storm last night, but this morning is trying to bee a good one, a bit of fog is out. All OP here, the past two days I have had a bit more of an apetite than normal. so that is either PMS or I getting sick,, who knows.. I am still OP though. I am not craving NO NO"S so that is a good thing.. We are gonna have another ride on our property on July8, the Powderpuff ride, the women get to have fun while the men cook, register and take care of all the finances and take care of all the quests.. This should be a hoot.. Sharon~ Sorry to hear about Aiden, I am sending well wishes your way.. chin up __________________ |
Sharon, sorry Aiden is now ill! Whew you must be exhausted yourself!
Patti, congratulations on the 30 pounds. Yay for you!!! Crock, sounds fun to get the guys to do all the work. :) Is this a horseback ride... or...??? Good morning to everyone else.... have a great day and get in that exercise and don't succumb to the junk temptations. :) |
Thanks Mist, Crock & Wyllen for your wishes for Aiden. He had a nap, then woke up & threw up all over the dining room, then the kitchen floor, eeewww.
He has been good making it to the loo but he was half asleep and didn't know where he was. Its a good job the sun has come out to dry all of the washing, four loads plus a load from last night, I feel like I'm working in a laundry FOR NO PAY!!!! lol. Dogpal & Crock, wow, in England to own land you have to be pretty well off, anything over 1/4 of an acre is a lot, but then again a lot of your states are bigger than our whole country!!!! We looked at 5 acres & a 'farmhouse', which was really just four walls & a roof, in a cheap area, £300k!!!! It would cost at least £70k to get the building fit to live in!!!!! So you have to be pretty rich to own land here, unless it's belonged to your family for years & years!!! Crock, MEN COOKING & sorting paperwork out, & women driving & stuff??? sounds like a good time to me, wish I could do stuff like that. We have a Grand Cherokee and would love to do off-roading but with the kids it's very hard AND there aren't a lot of clubs locally that do it, it gets very expensive too and lots of land here in Derbyshire is protected, wildlife & plants, etc. Well I have to go again, he's looking a bit pale & moaning, thanks again. I'll try & catch up with you all later, or tomorrow. xxsharon |
Greetings everyone!
Well, another day, another ----- something? I have three more days until my vacation! IF I survive to get there! I'm still sewing, DH is still cooking and getting camping stuff together, I need to go shopping...it never ends! Well, I suppose it actually ends on Friday when we hit the road for our week of medieval camping. With all the angst getting ready, I'm still looking forward to it. I plan on taking lots of classes at this event and learning pottery. I've always wanted to learn to make pottery. And I'm also going to take "beginning Middle Eastern dance" and DH has said he would take a class with me called "dancing for non-dancers". I'll also be spending some time on the archery range. A full week of stuff to do - but I don't have to do any of it! That's the best part! I might just decide to sleep in the shade for a week! Wow! There are so many new ladies! I can't begin to welcome you all individually, since I'm so far behind on posting, but here's a big, generic :welcome: to you all! This is a great place with great ladies! You'll get ton's of inspiration and, if you need it, a big  or :kickbutt: ! Luxorbea- had to comment, seeing your name. I went to Vegas last spring with DH and another couple and we stayed in a suite at the Luxor - LOVED IT! Terrific hotel! And many good thoughts going out to your daughter! Sharon- So sorry the little one is ill! I've been blessed with an extremely healthy boy...he just never gets sick and when he does he's the best thrower-upper ever. Never even cried, even as a really little guy. Hope Aiden gets better soon! Ammi! Amost to the 2's! Keep it up Lady! You're doing great! Kaylee: :crossed: for the new job! Zelma: Lovely to see your smiling face! Well all, I don't have time for further replies. Must dispense justice! Have a happy, healthy day! |
Lilion - Hope you have a great time on your upcoming vacation.
Patti - Congrats on the 30 pound loss! That is great. :carrot: Sharon - Oh, bless your heart taking care of sick kids. I hope Aiden feels better soon and that no one else in the house gets sick too. Annie - I loved what you said to SueMarie about the other teachers winning the battle but losing the war. I am going to have to remember that one. Kayley - I am so happy for you that it looks like the Whirlpool job may work out. Not only that, you still have other prospects waiting in the wings. Your perserverance has paid off...in both job offers and weightloss! As for me, I didn't get ALL my chores done yesterday. Cleaning out the garage turned out to be a much bigger project than I had anticipated so I never did get to cleaning the house. That's OK, I am still taking today as a "fun" day. I am going to go get a pedicure, get my car detailed (that's not fun in itself, but sitting there reading a book while someone else does the work is ;) ), and maybe go to the scrapbook store so I can get some more done on the one I am making for my European vacation I took 2 YEARS AGO! Procrastinate? Me? Never! Actually, it's not so much procrastination as much as it is I always seem to do the things I SHOULD do and put aside the things I WANT to do. I am trying to turn over a new leaf that way. It's time to enjoy life a little more!!! Anyway, hope you all have a great day. I know I plan to! :) |
Sharon hope your kids get to feeling better soon.. i know that isnt fun taking care of sick kids! thanks everyone for the congratulations.. slow weight loss is bettewr than no weight loss so i will take what i can get!
|
TFFY, ANY LOSS IS GOOD!!!!! even staying the same is ok, you seem to live on that treadmill, how many mins x a day do you do?
Xena where did you go in Europe? I will NEVER clean out my garage, hubby keeps filling it up HE CAN SORT IT OUT!!!lol It would take WAY more than 1 day!!! Lillion, Aiden has only been ill twice;he's almost three: once with croup three weeks ago, or so, & today so I've not done bad at all with him. I put it down to breastfeeding, it gives them such a good start. I love archery but it is harder than it looks, it's the speed that is important, too long and you lose it. Aim & fire, Steve & gareth both won certificates at the Robin Hood Pageant for shooting, I didn't. Do you use long or crossbows? Though I think crossbows weren't aroung in the Middle Ages, but I could be wrong. xxsharon |

Annie ~ I so want a house too! Unfortunately, it is SO expensive right now for fuel (heating) that with our debt we just wouldnt be able to keep up! Patti~ way to go one losing 30!!! Sharon ~ Give Aiden a big hug for me. I know how he feels as I just got over that about a week ago and it feels like it is on its way back again! ok guys that is all I have time for. I have been making star costumes all morning and I think I should run out and cut the lawn before the sun goes away again (it has been raining for a week). The costumes are for the Relay for Life on Friday night. Yeah finally!!! The kids are going to wear them and be our mascots.... our theme is "star light, star bright, wish we had a cure tonight..." OK guys...time to roll... talk to you soon! Brenda  |
Howdy yall, i was here a loooooooooooong time ago, then forgot all about 3 fat chicks, then refound it lol...ive mostly been doing the low carb thing, but its soooooooooooooooooo hard for me because i love my pasta and bread, i can cut back on them without a problem, but to cut them out OUCH!!! Sharon: big hugs to you and your Aiden. I sure hope he feels better soon.
Patti: Yipeee! I'm so happy for you to make that 30 pound mark. Good job. See, adding a bit more calories helped you out. Crock: have a great time on your powderpuff ride. Sounds fun. We used to do a ride with the motorcycle club called the Togetherness Run and I loved it because the guys did all the work! Lilion: Sounds like you are so ready for your vacation. It sounds fun all those classes and stuff. Have a blast. Xena: LOL. My hubby and I started to straighten/clean our garage about a month ago and my car is still parked outside as we speak. LOL. He is so hard to get moving on it and he won't let me do it without him. Paranoid I will get rid of some of his junk I guess. Good luck with that. When you are finished, reward yourself with some time scrap booking. I love doing that too. Brenda: I am in awe by all that you do for the charity you are in. They are blessed to have you. If they never say it to you, I want to you to know that I appreciate all you do. Big hugs. Robwen: Welcome Back. Your name looks familiar to me. I'm looking forward to getting to know you too. Blessings all, I went to Curves yesterday so today I exercise at home on the elliptical and situps and weights. Have a great op day. Annie |
you are so right it sure did!
