Sue - Currently, I'm getting my Associate's in Legal Studies, and then I want to transfer to Indiana University to get certified to become a Paralegal. Eventually, I may get my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice...we'll just have to see! :) Lovin' South Beach! I've lost 60 pounds since December on it....well, and exercise. I'm only just now finishing my first year of college, so I've got a while to go!

Hi Kayley... wow you are one ambitious chick! :) Glad the South Beach is working so well for you! You are doing great!!
|
Hi Ladies...Well no exercise for me today! I think between allergies and maybe a cold??? I had no energy! I am headed off to bed where I should have been all day. see ya ladies later.

HippieMomma – Welcome back!
Luan – Glad to hear things are going well. It is good to be busy! Ammi – You want to come over and clean out my closet? :D That is so cool that you have so much energy. Kayley – Congrats on finishing for the summer – that must feel so good! I was a glutton for punishment and I took summer classes, but then I was trying to finish as quickly as possible while going part time. That is so rude that your interviewer didn’t show up. We are all rooting for you on the job search. Elaine – Bonus! That must have been a shock to see such a different number than you were expecting. Cyn – Glad you found the main thread – welcome! Jill – I don’t know what to say about the snack monster (snack fairy my :censored: ) :o (sorry about the implied language). Are you eating enough? What about stress? Also, give Trader Joe’s some time – it was probably overly built up, but they do have really good stuff. Sharon – Sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well. Is this leftovers from your surgery? Misti – I am hoping to be in Twoderville by my birthday in mid-July. I won’t stress if I don’t make it, but it would just be so cool. The best birthday present I could possibly give myself. Patti – I weigh pretty much every day, but it only official on Thursdays. I like to see the daily fluctuations, and for the most part it doesn’t effect me. Brenda – Way to go on the 2 pounds! I am still jealous of you being in Canada and having a Penningtons. I miss that store. Tracey – Way to go on stocking up on healthy stuff. It helps so much to have things you want to eat. Dogpal – You are rockin’! A lemon with salt is bad? I can’t imagine eating that, but besides a bit of extra salt what does it hurt? Crock – I am glad you were able to talk things out with your friend. I haven’t lost weight in the past, but I can definitely look back on times when I knew I was out of control and couldn’t stop myself. I think about how much easier it would have been to be able to start from 250, but then we each have our own journey. I think in the end it will make us all stronger people. Not that being overweight is how I would have preferred to get my character development, but it could be worse. With the allergies, I find Claritin works really well, although it is so expensive. Lilion – I’m glad your surgery went well. I can’t wait to actually get mine taken care of – I am starting to lose patience, but I know I have to be patient and not make a decision that I will regret. SueMarie – 5 pounds in fantastic! Even if it is water weight, it is certainly motivating. Julee – Haven’t heard from you in a little while – hope all is OK. There are some other people missing too – brandnewme, Amber, Amy, Vicki – and we haven’t heard from Zelma in a few days. I had a really weirdly emotional day. I should have been totally pumped up – I had the loss and I also found out I was supposed to have gotten a raise on March 1. My boss (who is a bit of a flake) forgot to tell me – I had to ask because I saw it in the budget. Sometimes it is good to be in accounting. It will be retroactive, so I will get a nice little bit of extra cash next paycheck. But I was really emotionally over the top, and I was actually a bit obnoxious to our CEO in a meeting this afternoon when we were talking about replacing our admin person. People keep leaving and they keep handing me and the other woman in the office more and more duties. There are going to be in so much trouble when I am ready to move on. He kept trying to say that certain things didn’t take a lot of time and other things could be better automated – now these are things he has never done himself, and I was a bit harsh about it. Oh well – he is a pretty laid back guy. I am probably blowing it out of proportion. Hey Kayley – I actually got authorization to hire someone part-time – you want a job? It pays $15/hour and you get to work for me (I’m a pretty cool boss)! I guess the commute would be a bit too long though. Oh well. Well, it is getting late and I should get some sleep. Goodnight all! |
Hi Nancy
I love reading your encouraging messages to everyone! Hope you make it by your birthday... you have a good chance!!! But as you said, even if you don't quite make it you are getting there and that is what counts!!! I would like to make 40 pounds lost by my birthday and that is possible... 6 pounds and 3 weeks to go... but LOL the last week of that I will be on my cruise and I am determined not to blow it but losing weight may be pushing it... but I sure plan to TRY!! :) |
