Woo Hoo!
My WI was NOT 242.2! :( It was 241.4! See my Happy Dance! :carrot:  :cb: :dancer:  :cb: :carrot: |
Lilion: Congrats!
Ammi: Hi girl! Val: I know the feeling. My female lab, the one that was ill a while back, she has lost so much weight, a good thing, now I can pick her up so late at night when the male is in bed and she stays with me, I sit in our rocker recliner and call her to me and pick her up on her back pressed to my tummy and we sit like that for a long time she sleeps and I give her nose kisses. They are wonderful. Sharon: HI Everyone else a big hello and a big hug to the strugglers. I am struggling too. Blessings to you all, Annie (dogpal) |
Hello Ladies:
Today has been ok, I bought some WW tortilas today, for bread, Seems pretty good, dont know if it is 100% OP, but am 80-20 about it, Other than that, not a whole lot to report, I have to begin on Essay #3 for My English Class, cant seem to figure out a Topic, Something for POPULAR TREND and pros and cons.. nothing coming to mind, for a 10 pager. |
By the way, I am so damn hungry today, I am like a bottomless pit, All OP food I am eating, just cant seem to get full! oh how I hate Aunt Margaret and her Monthly visits!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello CHICKS!
I have laid low today, turned off my cell phone and rested. I did got to Curves and to the tanning bed:hot:. Back to work tomorrow. Nancy~Chris doesn't have a problem with me dieting yet. I have never been this heavy though. when we met I was about 270ish still a very Big Girl. Sometimes i will make comments about clothes i see and if i were small i would were that, he'll say I'm not attracted to that. i am attracted to larger men and Chris weighs 225 but if he were to lose weight for so sort of reason i would love him just the same. He has said he want me healthily and he knows my family history which is horrible. My father started have heart problems in his late 30's. The might be a problem in the future but if he loves me the way he says and acts like he does there won't be. LILION~~:balloons::cheer: Way to go!!!!!! I'm new here, I started my journey a couple of weeks ago. thanks for the welcome. AMMI~~ I love the forensic shows. I would love to go back to school and pursue that. it is all so fascinating to me. Sharon~~ My neighbor is a Peeping tom as well as a nut. He watches my front door from his window. i thought about making a sign for him to read:s:. Well i need to run to the store. my convicts need to eat, so they can keep my neighbors eyes busy. ~~~Maryanne |
Dogpal -- I know my dogs understand some of what I say to them, just from the context. And one of the things I love about pugs is that when you talk to them their heads tilt back and forth as tho they are listening intently... so cute!
Ammi -- good to hear from you -- sorry to hear you are having problems staying OP! But you keep saying you didn't get anywhere with your weight, but you have LOST 7 pounds and not gained more. For me, that could be an accomplishment most years! Did you know that for a pill to be considered a successful diet pill in the US, that on average it helps people lose 10 pounds a year??! So you are getting somewhere... but I do understand it's not where you want to be. Nancy -- I love Walden Pond and used to go sometimes when I lived down the road in Maynard! Lilion -- WooHoo! Glad to see the scale moving again for you! |
Crock:
A Popular trend? How about low-card and low-fat diets? Or anything about dieting and weight loss in general? I always feel that the most convincing writing is when you have an understanding of the topic and it means something to you. Just my 2 cents...I have my WI tonight...I'll post tomorrow I'm sure. |
Well - Here's to communication!! I told my BF that we needed a bit more romance and he delivered. It took him quite a long time (this is my first flowers and/or chocolates in almost 5 years of being together) but I am glad he finally figured out that those little gestures can be so important.
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h5...heat/Roses.jpg I will need to save some extra calories every day for a piece of chocolate, but that's ok. There is no way I am not eating them. I love Godiva's! Now I need to think of something sweet to get him. Wyllen - My mom worked at DEC for 20 years and started out in the Maynard mill. It is a small world! |
Julee ~ you stole my suggestion to Crock! I think the whole low-carb trend...although Atkin's is kind of "out" would be a good one. Great minds!
Wyllen ~ nice going getting the roses! I only get them for birthday, V-day and Anniversary now! I used to get them all the time! I like to stick little love notes (sweet or naughty) in DH's lunchbox or coat pocket - so he can find them later in the day. Not much, but a gesture. Guys aren't much for mush anyway. Off I go again! |
well today, so far, has been grand. the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and i lost 1.6. FINALLY broke that DAMNED plateau!!
i think im gonna go get my nails done now!! |
Julee~That is a great idea to do this on.... Thanks so much, I am sure 10 pages will be nothing for this ..................thanks again
Lilion~ perhaps Atkins versus South Beach??? |
Lilion -- Those were Nancy's flowers... I almost NEVER get flowers!! :(
Nancy -- Wow, it IS a small world! |
:o OOps! Sorry Wyllen! But I'm sure you DESERVE flowers.
Nancy...Way to go on the flowers...and all that other stuff I said to Wyllen! |
Ammi - :crossed: Wishing you luck from the doctor!!!!!
Lilion - HA! You are a quick thinker! Congrats on the WI! Crock - I was SO hungry yesterday, so I think I'm about due, too...unfortunately! :( I'm doing an 8 pager for my English class, and just using the old trusty gay marriage. :) Good luck coming up with a good topic! Julee - Hope all went well at the WI! :) Nancy - Awwwwww!!!! That's so sweet!!! I remember the first time I got a flower. A white rose after we had an argument about 2 months into our relationship. I literally cried. Luan - So glad you've beaten the plateau!! Way to go! Been an okay day. Had Criminal Justice this evening, and seems I got a 96% on my last test! :o Highest in the class...and I'm pulling an A in the class, and that's not including my extra credit. Whoa for me! LOL |
Nancy--You will love "Freaks and Geeks", I'm happy you're getting it :D ! Good idea keeping some bars handy--I think I'm going to throw some in the glovebox so I dont let myself get so hungry. And you are right, I need to forgive myself. I think I'm back on track now, but it was like once I was off track I just wanted to stay there! But the easiest route is usually not the best one. Oh, and I LOVE Indian food  . Hey, at least you went over on calories on something you like instead of greasy fried "fish" like I did!! OH, and congrats on the flowers and Godiva! You enjoy every whiff of those buds and every delicious morsel of those chocolates, you deserve them!
Kayley--Glad to hear someone else shares my frustration w/Walmart! "Saving Silverman" is one of those dumb movies that I could just watch over and over. I love Jack Black  ! Torrid has a measuring guide on thier site that would tell you what size you wear. Our closest Torrid is an hr away :( . But if you ever get to the store you should at least try some stuff on because thier sizes are pretty consistent so you'd know what size to order of other stuff online. Thanks for the pep-talk on my little dietary indescretions...:o Glad to hear someone else slacks on taking thier kitties to the vet--Wilhelm was all behind on his shots and stuff, oops :o !! Yeah, my mom re-married a few years back and my step-dad is way cooler. My mom carries a lot of guilt for staying w/my dad for so long, but she really took that whole "till death do us part" thing to heart, so that's gotta count for something, right :D ?? Besides, she did right the 2nd time around. About the HS tormentors--they deserve everything they get! I was tormented in HS, too. Hey, what's TOPS? What kind of program is it? GOOD JOB on your test, whoo hooo! :cp: Ammi--Thanks for the pep-talk, I think I am back on target now :crossed: . About Nat and I, frankly it doesnt really bother me as much as you'd think. I mean, I miss him, yes. But its like a scab--the more you pick at it, the more it hurts. And some days, whoa buddy, that scab is really a gusher. But most days I am ok. I am "single" for all intents and purposes but yet I still have someone to love and who loves me. I like my "alone time" but I admit I have thought about moving to Kansas City to be w/him because it makes me wonder if I am getting busy living or getting busy dying? All this time we're taking to get our careers and health (he has weight issues, too) in order, whats it all worth? And why do we have to be apart to do it? I dunno, I'm 26 and he's 31--you'd think we'd have this stuff sushed out by now, but I guess we all go at our own pace. Sharon--Thanks, I am trying :D ! Planning ahead is what I really need to do so I dont get so hungry and just gorge myself on something disgusting and unhealthy. Maryanne--Thanks for the support :D . Sorry to hear your neighbor is being ugly! You'd think that when you have your own house and get out of apt living you wouldnt have to deal w/that anymore. Thankfully you are always watching your babies so Animal Control doesnt trap them :yikes: ! Good job going to Curves today, yeah! Lilion--I noticed you were mysteriously absent from the last thread! Naughty naughty :nono: :D ! I just noticed that you have lost 87 lbs overall, that is AMAZING!! And whoooo hoooo on your recent loss :carrot: :bravo: !! Good for you for sticking w/the eliptical. I used to do the elip at the gym I used to go to and it can be a bear. Just keep plugging away and you will build up some stamina. And thanks for the pep talk. You are right, I didnt get this way by slipping up once. Julee--I forsee this in your future: :goodscale !! :goodluck: !! Valerie--Whew, someone really saved you from that cinnabon. Diet angels?? Hey, what does broccoli salad have in it? It sounds good! Oh, and thanks for this: "To fall off is human, to get back on track is... skinny making" :lol3: . I gave my butt a thorough dusting off today, hopefully for good :crossed: . Dogpal--We'll get back on track together! We can DO this!! :cheer: Crockett--Whats the nutritional value on the WW tortillas and where do you find 'em? I'm always looking for lower-point tortillas and WW products are always pretty good. I dont envy you writing a 10 pg paper at all  ! I love writing but I hate writing papers! Luan--WOOO HOOO on breaking your plateau! :encore: I hope you had a great day and enjoyed every minute of getting your nails done! You deserve it! :sunny: Wyllenn--I'll send you flowers!! :flow1: :flow1: :flow1: As for me, I had an entirely OP day and worked out this evening! Yay  ! I weighed myself at Curves and have gained 3 lbs. . UG  ! I didnt expect to lose any, but how could I gain 3 lbs when I was only off-plan 4 days?? Even though I didnt excercise last week because I was sick, I was still OP, save for those 4 days! And I didnt weigh last week, so does this mean that even though I was OP and excersing the week before that I didnt lose any weight? Or had I lost some and those 4 days off-plan caused me to actually gain more than 3 lbs from where I was??? ARG  ! Oh well, I am back on the horse now. I dont think I'll use any of my flex points this week--I figure my flex and then some were used in the last 4 days I was off-plan. I am also going to work out tomorrow and Saturday to get a$$ back in gear! I'm sorry if I missed anyone in my replies or if I didnt say much to each of you. I was like 1/2 done w/my individuals and I lost my post because the session of internet explorer I was on decided to close. SO after working on my individuals for like 45 min I lost them all and had to re-type them  , hence the abridged version. |
