GM ALL, I hope this finds everyone doing well, I have been recipe searching and with today as my only day off .I have to go to the store and cook today, but I will be good to go for a couple of days or more... depends on if I like what I am making....lol

Morning All!
I KNEW I hadn't gained 2 pounds! Over the day yesterday I downed 92 oz. of water and when I got on the scale this morning it was at 247.6 - NOT 250.6... :carrot: Still, since yesterday was the official WI, I'm leaving my slider at 250. But I'll get it NEXT week! Luan - Obviously, your .2 gain is probably NOT real weight! If I can shed 3 lbs of water in a day, I'm sure that is probably your problem too..especially with TOM right around the corner. :yes: Honiangel - Bless you! Taking care of someone elses children, even family, takes an amazing person! Hope it all works out best for all.:hug: Gosh, hearing some of the stories about how family have given you grief about your weight makes me feel sooo lucky! I've just never had to deal with that. Of course, I've also got in-laws with 1 daughter bigger than I ever was and no other relatives to speak of other than a brother and aunts I never see. It's so easy for me to tell you all to tell them to stick their comments, but I can't even imagine how rough it would be to hear. About the hashest comment I ever got about my weight was my dad once saying that a girls "girls" should bump into a wall before her stomach did! (Dad always had unique sayings. :no: ) My virtual hat is off to all you low-carb ladies. Lilion loves her carbs! I have to admit, I eat WAY more white bread, rice and pasta than I ought. I do try to buy whole grain breads but DH doesn't like them much so we end up back to white. I bought brown rice for a while, but white you can get at Aldi's for practically nothing and pasta...well, I don't know that I've even looked at whole wheat pasta to see what it costs... On the up side, I'm not and never have been a binger. (Bingger? How the heck is that spelled? A person who binges! :p ) And carbs seem to fill me up fine and not make me hungry. I overeat, no doubt about that, but not on one certain thing. Really, if I had to say what sets me off, it's probably fat! I love fatty foods, like pork sausage, that it's on a pizza crust or a biscuit or toast is completely incidental. But you know, I'm also a woman who "quit" smoking after 14 years and still can bum a cig once a month, or two months, or smoke a couple out for drinks, and not go back to smoking, so apparently I'm just not a person who gets physically dependant on things. I have no idea whatsoever where I was going with this line of thought, so I think I'll shut up! :lol: I need to get to work anyway, so....Have an OP day ALL! :D |

I hope this posts finds you all well and happy.... only 9lbs down since new year, I did lose 16lbs but a couple of depressing weeks found I gained some again.... trying again though as that topic title says! |
