Hi. My name is Megan. I'm 24 years okl and live in Missouri. I've been trying for almost 15 years at least to lose weight and haven't succeeded due to a lack of support. I have will power and am able to lose weight - I'm just a stress and boredom eater so when things get hectic I let myself slip. I have about 161 lbs to lose (currently I'm at a weight of about 335) and it looks like it's going to be a long journey...so if anybody wants to hook up, just drop me a line.

Hi there...Im glad you are here...I am a pretty recent newbie and understand exactly how you feel...I just turned 25 and I am a boredom eater from way back ...I became serious about losing this weight when I was at about 330...down to about 312 now and I know that if I can keep it up then anyone can...this place does wonders for motivation and some of the most wonderful and lovely people are here and will be here to support, motivate and even kick your butt if you need it (well maybe not really...but I might need one to get past the evil threat of Easter candy). They really inspire me on a daily basis. But I do want to welcome you and hope to get to know ya!
I'm 22 years old and currently at about 305 pounds, so I feel your pain! This is an excellent place to come for advice and support, even if just to whine about hoe bad a day you had or how horribly you ate on a particular day--everyone here has had similar situations and obstacles, so it's really great to know we all have a long way to go. How annoying is it to try dieting with people who only have to lose like 20 pounds when you have to lose over 100?! We're here for ya...feel free to PM with any questions!

Hi!!! I'm another pretty new person hehe. I started trying to lose weight in January of 2004. I started at 367 and am now down to 316.5, so I'm proud of that. I'm 28 (in May) and really want to get down to 200 by the time I'm 30!!! I'm glad you found your way here, everyone is really nice and very supportive. Email or pm me anytime!!!
