Pat yourself on the back!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Tell everyone what you did today to get yourself that much closer to your goal.

*Exercise?
*Try a new vegetable?
*Turn down the Krispy Kremes at the office?

Any positive steps that you have taken...let's hear about it!

This is NOT the place to confess your sins or make excuses!
We only want to hear about the GOOD STUFF!

Okay, I'll start...since I'm up anyway. Do you see what time it is? I want to be at the gym when it opens, (5:30) so I can get my exercise done before my son even gets up for school. My bags are packed and I'm ready to go.

Oh yeah, AND I've been totally OP for two days!

Terri in MO 09-20-2004 07:50 AM

Can I count yesterday?

I did

pilates - two workouts
horseback riding
bike riding - 30 minutes
walked the dog - 25 minutes

This morning, I just finished:
pilates - two workouts

Got my lunch packed and meals planned for an OP day!

katrinabgood 09-20-2004 07:54 AM

Of COURSE you can count yesterday! Sounds like a very active day!

I went to the gym, 30 minutes on the treadmil, 20 of them HARD, and 15 minutes on the upper body machines.

katrinabgood 09-20-2004 08:06 PM

Let me just pull this up to the top so that everyone sees it!

HI, MERRICK!!! I'M OVER HERE!!!!

eddies_heart 09-20-2004 09:55 PM

I said NO!!!

:smug:

2 different times today people came around after school with leftover food from meetings during the day, sandwiches, brownies, cookies...I drooled, argued with myself, tried rationalization, tried the "just one bite" logic, but in the end, knowing just one bite works for spinach but not for much else... I said NO!!! And went to get a diet soda and ate my string cheese for a snack.

Whooo oooh!!

Terri in MO 09-20-2004 10:00 PM

Tonights activity was horseback riding. Nothing strenous but it was activity. All the running back and forth to get stuff out and then put it all back.

Food was good!

Great job, Chris! Such fortitude! Cherish that feeling of accomplishment!

ageoldie 09-20-2004 11:02 PM

My biggie was throwing away the chocolate cake, but I also only ate 3 sensible meal, no snacks and NO SUGAR!!!

Exercise was 1 1/2 mile walk and 1 hour advanced water aerobics.

BarbPA 09-20-2004 11:49 PM

I had a great session at the gym tonight --- met with a personal trainer for a consultation, did 20 min on the eliptical, 1 hour deep water aerobics class and then 20 min of lap swimming. I am tired! :faint: But, I feel great about my physical accomplishments today. :D

qsilver 09-20-2004 11:57 PM

I exercised 25 minutes with the physical therapist this morning. Also, I stayed OP all day long. :)

I have started to measure out my portions. Yesterday I had a big salad for lunch with a serving of broccoli and cauliflower and 2 oz of :chicken: . I spent part of the day Sunday measuring out all the :chicken: my :chef: cooked up for me. I individually wrapped them up and put them in the freezer. Last night I refused to go to Red Lobster for the Shrimp Fest. Boy was that a hard one, but I did it.

that's it for now.

Lots of good things happening here! I'm so proud of all of you! ...all of US!

I took the stairs, instead of the elevator, all night long at work.
I came in 6 points under my limit yesterday.

redswirls 09-21-2004 12:11 PM

I snuck a peek on the scale this morning and was down to 298...out of the 300's!! Hope to be in the upper 80's by end of this month. Finding it amazingly easy to stay on track!

Merrick 09-21-2004 08:37 PM

Hey I found you'll

I am so proud of everyone, at this rate you'll will be too skinny very soon. :D

it is the little things that count and make the biggest difference. :D :D

Well lets see, my accomplishments for the past two days, I have been watching very closely what I eat. I am writing it down now and adding up my points. I wore my pedometer yesterday and walked little more than a mile. And today, I made it around the HS track 5 times, up from 4X last week. I walk the track while my son practices football, 3X a week. I plan on doing one set of my resistance tubes, And I AM going to sit done tonight and write up my plan for exercise, cooking, and cleaning my house. I am going to schedule it and make it a point to look at my planner everyday.

I love this place, everyone is so wonderful..... thanks
