We want to invite everyone to join us in our journey.
We share laughter and tears.
We share what works for us and what doesn't.
We recently started a Topic of the Day.
Monday........Motivation Monday
Tuesday.......Tuesday Tips
Wednesday.....Wednesday Weigh ins
Thursday......Thankful Thursday
Friday........Friday Facials, Fingernails and Fun
Saturday.......Sit-up Saturdays - any physical activity
Sunday.........Soup and Salad Sunday - recipes
These are not required topics ...just ideas to share. We have found them very helpful. We also share heartaches and fears...joys and celebrations.
I have to run and pick the boy up at school! I left work at noon today because the appraiser came at 1:30! We had the electrical inspection monday and passed that now we just have to have the heater inspection and the chimney inspection next thursday and the termite inspection is tomorrow! Then the dreaded township inspection.they are such morons and always want something done before they approve you. Don't ever buy a house in Pennsylvania unless you plan to die there! They make it so hard for you to sell it!! Anyways, tonight we are off to North Carolina again to look at a dozen more houses and to put a deposit on one! Yippeee! Then friday we meet with the mortgage guy down there! So keep your fingers crossed that all goes smoothly!
Andria happy happy birthday!!!
I'll check back in when I get home on Saturday night or sunday morning!
Just have a quick minute, to stop in and report my weekly weigh in. I am down another pound at WW. I have officially lost 5.5 pounds since rejoining three weeks ago. This week however has been tough (well actually a disaster, as it is my TOM and I want lots of food, and have little energy to do anything else.).
Anyhow, I am now down to 294.5, and hoping to see the 280's in the next few weeks (fingers crossed).
Work is starting to get crazy, as it is the beginning of our budget planning season. I won't be in as often as I would like, but I will definitely pop in the give updates.
Anyone else care to post a loss for the challenge?
I sense a waning of focus for the challenges. Gals, with these challenges we have lost almost 35 pounds as a group. Which is great but considering how many sign up for the challenge, we could have lost a lot more. We seem to have trouble staying focused as a group for any length of time. We've got to encourage and inspire one another to stay focused. We can't do that if we're not staying focused ourselves. One of the things we have to learn is how to keep our goals in mind no matter what life throws us. If we throw our healthy behavior out the window when things get tough, then we're not overcoming the behaviors that have led us to get overweight and out-of-shape. Come on gals!
to everyone for their losses.
Let's do a challenge of two pounds gone by 9/30. This is within our grasp. No excuses! We have to put our health first!

Happy Birthday Andria.
Well, I have busy weekend coming up and am planning what I am going to eat so I don't eat what I shouldn't. There is a big festival in town and I have company coming to stay and take in all of the acitivities:
flea market
food
parade
a lot of honoring the military things
craft sales
garage sales
and other activities
Mary you may have to head back up north to escape the hurricane!!!!
It's 8PM - I am pooped and haven't eaten or anything yet. Later,
I didn't make the 1 pound challenge last week, so thanks for the pep talk, Terri. Sorry I've been offline again... I was practically evicted from my office because they just suddenly decided to paint.
