So, I haven't been here in forever but this site randomly popped into my head today as I'm struggling with the title of this thread. I'm 33, starting to have some issues that I need to see the gyno for....but I'm too embarrassed and fearful to bite the bullet and go. How do you all handle this, I'm very short and very overweight (not proud of this at all but it is what it is). This has kept me from going for years, I know I should have gone over a decade ago....I just can't seem to get over the intense embarrassment.

I was in the same situation for almost 20 years. I caved last year and went to the GYN and it was in and out, not as bad as I thought it was gonna be at all. I realized I was building it up in my head more than anything.
