Default New years

I know how this place tends to mentally prepare for all the new years resolutioners....

I know because I've spent a lot of time over the years on this board. Sometimes, for long, successful stretches of time. But, here I am, I'm coming back to you as a new years resolutioner.

Mostly because of the timing in my life, I recently came off a med that caused massive weight gain, and quickly. I was on 30 mgs, now I'm down to 10. It's helping already, I can't wait to be free of it!

I"m back to whole foods, vegetarian. I feel better already

My sole resolution is to make peace with food and my body. I am beginning the journey of Intuitive Eating. I will never diet again. I am setting no weight loss goal. I will not berate myself for eating X.

I believe that underneath the madness created by the diet mentality, is healthy person that can relearn to trust herself.

beginme, I am kind of anti diets at this point as well, no more counting for me, It's hard to go so far over on whole foods that you gain weight so I'm just trying to eat those and be more intuitive about when I'm full and stopping before I feel gross! I Do have goals, but they are flexible.

everyone else, thanks!
