Thank God for this thread. I forgot to plan supper!
Tonight we will be having meatloaf made with grass fed beef and a million roasted veggies ground up and secretly mixed into it. For our obvious veggies we will have cauliflower with cheese sauce.

Mild italian pork burger (no bread), potato salad (with caesar dressing instead of mayo), and broccoli. I don't know how healthy this is, but it sure was filling.

bubblybee 02-20-2014 07:51 PM

Tonight we had leftover whole wheat pasta with meat sauce made with ground turkey and steamed veggies, nothing exciting!

Terra1984 02-21-2014 10:17 AM

Ubee ~ Well first off I should say it wasnt the healthiest dinner we could of had but the chicken was breaded with French's Crunch Time Entrees (Its new at Walmart) and the cabbage was pan fried, Again I know it wasnt the healthiest dinner we could of had but it was sooo good.

Today we're having.....(I know its bad) but we're having McDonalds for dinner but I'll be sure to get grilled chicken that way its semi healthy.

Logan's, I know I should of had everything Grilled but I've had their grilled shrimp skews before and it just seems like they dont have any taste, I know I do like grilled food though cause I like Burger King's Grilled chicken Tender Sandwich, So its not because its grilled,It just doesnt have any taste. I hope this post makes sense.

bubblybee 02-25-2014 07:29 PM

Ugh, made bad choices tonight. I used this new Kraft "fresh take" cheese/breadcrumb thing for boneless chicken breasts that was on sale. It was fine, nothing remarkable or that I couldn't make myself, but the very worst was when I noticed how much sodium was in it, of course AFTER the fact. I'm at 2700MG today now...I know that means I'll be bloated and up some pounds tomorrow morning!

You can technically eat anything in moderation and still lose weight. :D I think a smaller portion of regular pasta would probably be less harmful to your good diet than a bigger portion of wheat pasta that leaves you unsatisfied and reaching for something else afterward!

Dinner tonight is burritos...made with black beans, brown rice, salsa, ole extreme wellness tortillas, cabot light cheese, and avocado. With a side of steamed broccoli.

Terra1984 02-26-2014 10:07 PM

We ended up going to Golden Corral and I ate alot of good food but I also came home and worked out like crazy as well

Terra1984 02-27-2014 12:13 PM

Thank you so much bubblybee!! I made my very own Alfredo sauce today minus the wheat pasta, just using regular Angel hair pasta and it turned out great. Next on my list is overcoming this battle I have with Turkey :(

lemc87 02-27-2014 11:29 PM

I made homemade burger patties. Instead of buns, we used whole wheat flatbread. The only condiments I had on my burger was mustard and feta cheese. Made a tomato/cucumber salad to go with it as well.

Jaqs 02-28-2014 01:05 AM

Grilled chicken, Grilled zucchini, steamed asparagus and some brown rice. All yummy and prepared a few days ago.

I am still getting used to that part of it all lol. I have always hated leftovers. So I end up wasting most of my prepped foods. Getting better tho.
