Welcome to the newest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.
Remember this is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?
Grab an oar and join us doing our best to stay dry.
We just set a reasonable 10 day goal. If you meet it your in the boat and dry. If you miss it you fall out and get wet. It's best to pick something that you know will help you now, and in your longer, weight loss journey. Doesn't have to be food or exercise. Sometimes it's just thinking something good about yourself each day.And yes, you are welcome to pick up an oar and start rowing at any time.
I was dry again yesterday. Drank my water and managed to stay POP while enjoying a church supper. I did say NO to pie and large portions.
Well I joined the gym yesterday so my main goal for the next 10 days would be to go into the gym and get acquainted with it, I am nervous, and curious. I have only been to curves in the past so this will be a change for me.
I need to remember that I put 2 tbsp of sugar and 1 of creamer in one of my coffee's this AM I hardly ever do that. Chalk it up to bad judgment because I am exhausted, had an unexpected late night, and I am paying for it today that's for sure.
So far so good with the tracking my intake hasn't been ideal but I'm writing it all down, maybe I'll set a calorie goal for the next 10 days when I am use to just inputting everything in my software. Yesterday it didn't seem to stop me from eating cookies... but I just promised myself I'd track. I'll use the data and compare it to the numbers on the scale and see how it goes.
I'm still logging, I logged as accurately as I could everything at the potluck short of measuring and demanding everyones recipes. i overate, but oh well today is a new day.
Well I managed to stay dry and keep my word about going to the gym. Went tuesday and met with my trainer and got the rundown on things and had a talk with her. Wed, we went through my strength training routine and I almost made it to the end, just one more rep of what I was doing and I would have had it. And I got up at 5:30am and was at the gym at my goal time of 7am for my cardio session. I feel great. Hopefully I can keep it up.
