He would still lose well on that amount; and he doesn't want to lose too much muscle either, I'm sure. :) BTW, I started at 2100 calories a day, and lowered it a bit as I lost weight. |
I also found that not letting myself get hungry was a huge help. I am SOOO bad about not eating all day, and then being famished, and wolfing down everything in site. If I plan ahead, and keep yummy healthy snacks and a variety handy, its easier to stick to. Having several small meals during the day was probably the best thing I did for myself. Good luck to you!
