Goal #1 Stay out of the water. I'm getting sick of getting wet.
Goal #2 Live my WW plan the way I did when I started.
Goal #3 Be proud of what I've done so far.

those are great goals, j-ann. Mine are:
>to stay dry all 10 days (had 1 wet day in the last segment)
>do my best on workouts even with the little one along with me
>keep plugging away at those Sept goals
>rejoice in all my milestones along the way
Lost another pound! (Only one more pound till I earn another cheerleader below)
My cardio workouts for the 1st week of Sept burned 15,049 calories! I'm aiming for 50,000
Wow!!!
time for a new segment already? (time went fast)
I worked out earlier today, but procrastinated this evening so i didn't do the 2nd exercise session as i was planning.
food tracking-- success today.
ate very well and i think its because i was away from the fridge. Also, i snacked on healthy foods throughout the day, and tried my best to stay away from bread and flavored fat (cheese)
Goals this go' round(southern accent):
------------------------------------------------
1] Keeping water intake high
2] Getting rest at night and going to bed (doing badly already)
3] Eating cleanly and not processed if possible
4] Going outside more, and focusing more on what I hold close.
5] exercising restraint, and learn how to be a good listener and enjoy the quiet times.

Thank you for your continued dedication and for being accountable.
I have already seen some great nsv's and sv's and I am sure that you guys have as well
hi!!
im new to 3FC and someone recommended this particular thread as i have a problem sticking to healthy eating after the first 2-3 days have gone by... lets hope this works my goals for the next 10 days(including today) are:
1. drinking 8-10 (250 ml) glasses of plain water a day(ive managed only two today and its already 3 in the afternoon!!! gotta go grab tht water bottle!!!
2. continue with my 5-6 mini healthy mini meals a day and plan everything a night before!!
3. say NO to any sweets, chocolates, fried stuff, junk food offered by anyone, be it a classmate, my husband, my brother
4. will not dial that home delivery number, no matter what happens,, I WILL NOT ORDER ANY FAST FOOD for the next ten days!!!
phew!!!
So my goals for the next 10 days are;
To slowly increase my exercise level (knee permitting) to my previous 2.6 miles of speedwalking plus one other session of exercise each day.
To stay on plan with my eating and try to get the protein:carb mix a bit better than it is at the moment.
To cook one healthy new dish from my WW cook book.
To focus on the long term health benefit not the short term scale victories if the scales don't say what I want them to!
ruined my first day's work ,,, stuck to the goal of drinking water and taking healthy mini meals thru out the day,,, but then went to a wedding in the evening,, in pakistan, weddings are colourful events with lots of different kinds of food etc andddddd had a white flour "naan" its a kind of bread, with gravy and white rice!!! was not suppsoed to have white rice and naan!!! did not touch the ice cream afterwards but feel very very guilty on having the white rice and naan,, did not stop after the first serving and took a smaller second helping as well... and on our way back home my husband stopped at a milkshake place and i had a date and cream milkshake,, full fat milk becoz the place did not offer low fat milk,, the only good thing is tht i asked hem not to put in any sugar as dates are quite sweet.... in deep pits of self loathing, horror, disappointment right now... not liking myself.... AT ALL
today has been quite busy for me, I have been completing alot of work throughout the day.
The good news is that I ate under my calorie range, but the not so great news is that the majority of that went to eating turkey bacon.
You could essentially call that a mini frenzy. I am thankful that it was lean, but I know that I opted for it because I had not prepared myself a filling meal prior.
I did not get the exercise in today like I wanted to :[
I think that sticking to the exercise in the morning plan is better as there is no possibility of running out of time to do it :]
@hamlette - Sometime off days can happen. I think that the key to not eating the things that you want to stay away from is by preparing food in advance that you could eat instead. That way it wont be as tempting as food has already been made for you at that time.
When you fall off the health wagon, just dust your self off and get back on

Hi all!
Welcome to the newcomers!
Days 1&2 went good for me. Had a tough workout yesterday and I was able to do my c25k training yesterday. Took it to the next level and for the 1st time I officially did more jogging than walking. Yay me!
Lost another pound! (another cheerleader added to the squad below) that's a pound lost 2 days in a row)
Today was a rest day from the y because I haven't taken a rest day in a couple weeks. My mom and I took my lil nephew to the fair today. We were there almost 5 hrs but considering some standing in line I think it was an honest 3.5 hrs of leisurely walking (2mph?) I feel like I walked 10 miles! But it was probably half that. I'm estimating 5 for my miles tracking. We didn't sit down or rest once! And I resisted the fair foods. I'm going again in a week and a half with my hunny and I'm only indulging once.
So I'm dry and rowing hard. Back to the y tomorrow.

day 1 went great for me..day 2 was going great and I got a phone call that my grandson was in the hospital and it upset me and I reached for the cashews and then some pretzels. Both are no no for me!!
ho hum.
Bit of exercise which I was pleased about then last night hubby is tucking in to his usual bedtime snack of a few biscuits and a banana.......and OK they called out to me!
I did really well all day despite feeling ravenously hungry......why does that happen on some days and not others? Then got into bed and indulged in a few biscuits.....not hundreds but enough to exceed my weight loss calorie count. So got a bit splashed but served me right for leaning too far out of the boat!!!
Hi everyone!!
Day 2 today was relatively better.. I say relatively better because although I didnt get soaked like yesterday, did get splashed a teeny weeny bit.... but exerted self control at the right time ... drank only 6 glasses of water, which is better than yesterday's 4 so ill probably get to 8 tmrw,,, i dislike public toilets a lot so hesitate drinking lots of water as i do not want to use the university restrooms :/ lol,,, but no excuses,,, my mini meal plan is going quite well,,just the right amount of packed veges, fruits, nuts and cottage cheese ,,, my vice was the skimmed milk chocolate shake after dinner at 8 p.m although the milk was low fat, the shake had a few oreo cookies blended in but i just had two sips and i think thats better than having the whole thing,,,,, i think im weaning myself off bad stuff, hehehehe,,,
Anywayz,, i need a suggestion!!! ive just started my weight loss journey and have 106 lbs to go,,,, SHOULD i start incorporating exercise ( brisk walking) right away or not??? i mean, i have this fear tht if i start exercising, ill reach a plateau soon and then ill have to increase my exercise time, and so on and so forth,,, is this just smthng in my head or am i right??
