had an awesome 2 hour workout today. Stayed within my WW points. I'm doing great. Have a walk through the forest planned for tomorrow. Might even get some nice scenic photos out of it.

Measure my portions according to food label or common sense.
Make concious food choices.
Don't quit.
These are my simple goals. I have been on so many diets and I have so much information that I know what I should be eating. I am just using what I know. The hardest thing is resisting the "fat" withdrawl. I look at it like caffeine or nicotin. My body wants that Big Mac, fries and biggie sized Dr. Pepper. So when I eat a sensible meal it tries to trick me into thinking I am still hungry when, after a normal portion of "healthy" spaghetti w/ meat sauce and salad, I know I am not.
I am a bit behind this week...I had knee surgery on Monday. But I have managed to stay dry all week.
Sunday was a trip to the casino. Instead of grabbing a burger at the bingo hall we ordered salads from the restaurant. I could only eat half. We usually have supper at the buffet and that's what we did on Sunday also. I had baked chicken breast and baked fish, a lettuce salad, cooked carrots and cantaloupe. So I stayed on plan and within my calorie goal!
Monday was surgery and that was an easy day...nothing to eat before surgery, home by noon, slept until 5:30. Eggs, yogurt and fruit for supper.
Yesterday my best friend brought over supper so I wouldn't have to cook. Except she brough over broasted chicken. I always have a lettuce salad in the fridge, she also brough watermelon. So I peeled the skin off the chicken breast at half of it (the meat not the skin) and had a salad and watermelon.
Today looks like it should be smooth sailing.
Tomorrow I can take my compression wrap off and start on the treadmill!!
Best of luyck to everyone. Hope your week stays dry!
Compression wrap off today and I was able to take a shower! YAY!! Knee is feeling pretty good! I was worried that I would eat out of boredom while recovering from surgery, but so far that hasn't been an issue.
