Default Just a quick check in :)

Hey ladies, I just wanted to check in and let everyone know I am still on the right track altho I have been mia for about a week or so on here.

I had to leave san diego last tues, but I had good things to come home to in sacramento.

First one being an apartment. I signed a one year lease and I am within a mile to curves and right next door to a 24 hour fitness and a california fitness womans center. I am excited about things to come.

Going grocery shopping was not hard for me at all but I limited myself to enough food to get me through 2 week intervals for right now.

I am planning on joining the gym after my birthday (april 27th) and in the mean time I was given a stepper (looks like this http://www.amazon.com/Sunny-Health-F...464119&sr=1-10) To get me going a bit until I join the gym, I am also on the hunt for a elliptical or treadmill.

I am working on a blog just so I can track my progress

Keep in mind my goal is to go a year (from april 27th 2011 - april 27th 2012) to accomplish my goal weight. It might not be possible but I will get as close as I can and have all the faith in myself that I can muster up

Anyways, hope everyone is doing good.

Hi there,

thanks for checking in! Glad to see that you're still doing well.

It's great to set goals, and I think that it's really healthy as well to not put large amounts of weight loss on a restrictive time schedule. I like how you said that you will get as close as you can and have a lot of faith in yourself.

With continued dedication and commitment to changing your way of life, many things are possible!

Anything is possible with hard work and dedication. I love doing both the elliptical and the treadmill. Some days I do one for 40 minutes instead of the other and other days I do both (one for 20 minutes, the other for 20 minutes). This is just so I can get a variety in and keep my body guessing. You and I actually share the same birthday, April 27th! I hardly ever meet people with my birthday. I, too, would like to be at goal weight in 2012 before turning...25. Gosh, cannot believe that I will be 25 in 2012. Seriously. Anyway, good luck and YOU CAN DO IT!

LOL I am trying to do it before I turn 30 in 2012 so if you would like to be motivational buddies let me know lol. It might be cool since we are on the same time frame and such.
