This group is for those dealing with the challenges of being fit when you have a significant amount of weight to lose which becomes harder after age 40. If you're an old or new friend and not over 40 and feel this is the place to post, jump right in
Heather - thanks for the boost - I'd say I was within my calories - dinner just wasn't good choices. So glad to hear the scale is showing the dividend of your hard work.
Eating is back on track and scales are going down. It sure takes them longer to go down than it does to go up.
We are getting some much cooler weather finally. I was able to take the kids to the playground and got some exercise while they played. Hoping to do a repeat of it today.
NEWS FLASH...my daughter is going to have a baby. She is due march 9th. Im made my mind up to be close or at goal by then. I always love having a date to work towards and what better than my 3rd grandbaby.
Yesterday was a great day food and exercise wise. Hubby is back into grilling for us and it makes eating right sooooooo much easier. HIs glucoses numbers are back to normal and he is feeling so much better.
Ruby -- I've been really frustrated with myself lately, but if I give up I'm only going to gain all the weight back. Really not an option! Hang in there!
Im feeling so good. We are having beautiful weather for a few days and Im enjoying being outside. We spent most of the day outside yesterday, cant wait to repeat it again today.
Count me among the frustrated - but as wise Heather said - there is no giving up and going back. Maintenance is hard! Kicking myself to move down the scale is harder. Those are my options!
Thank you ladies! I'm just finding it so difficult right now, and considering even something as drastic as surgery (which I was always too scared to even think about). Not sure why I feel like this lately.
Maybe I would feel better if I had gotten somewhere and was maintaining, but I'm still trying to get there!
Going to try to hang in and draw my motivation from you all!
