Hang in there, Carol! And thanks for not only starting the new thread, but closing the last one!

I didn't get in all the exercise I wanted to today, but food was okay! Scale is creeping back down...

Heather - thanks for the boost - I'd say I was within my calories - dinner just wasn't good choices. So glad to hear the scale is showing the dividend of your hard work.

Eating is back on track and scales are going down. It sure takes them longer to go down than it does to go up.
We are getting some much cooler weather finally. I was able to take the kids to the playground and got some exercise while they played. Hoping to do a repeat of it today.

Debbie -- You are so right about the scales!

Carol -- Let's both make good choices today!

NEWS FLASH...my daughter is going to have a baby. She is due march 9th. Im made my mind up to be close or at goal by then. I always love having a date to work towards and what better than my 3rd grandbaby.
Yesterday was a great day food and exercise wise. Hubby is back into grilling for us and it makes eating right sooooooo much easier. HIs glucoses numbers are back to normal and he is feeling so much better.

Debbie - you have so much good news right now! You deserve it after the rough summer - keep up the great work!

Yesterday was a long day - long lunch meeting - not good choices - DH's birthday was yesterday - good dinner choices.

Today - POP!

Congrats, Debbie!!!

Yesterday was okay for both food and exercise. Today I need to work in my exercise, but I already have food for lunch and dinner.

The weather is supposed to be so nice today! Finally!

hi ladies,

I haven't posted here in ages, but it's good to see some familiar faces.

How do you all do it still? How do you keep going and not give up?

I'm feeling so frustrated lately. Even to the point of considering surgery. Hoping that coming back here on a regular basis helps me through.

You are all really so inspiring. Hope some of it rubs off!

Ruby -- I've been really frustrated with myself lately, but if I give up I'm only going to gain all the weight back. Really not an option! Hang in there!

Count me among the frustrated - but as wise Heather said - there is no giving up and going back. Maintenance is hard! Kicking myself to move down the scale is harder. Those are my options!

Thank you ladies! I'm just finding it so difficult right now, and considering even something as drastic as surgery (which I was always too scared to even think about). Not sure why I feel like this lately.

Maybe I would feel better if I had gotten somewhere and was maintaining, but I'm still trying to get there!

Going to try to hang in and draw my motivation from you all!
