Red face I am back to try again...

Hello Ladies, I have been a member for a while now... The last time I was on here, I lost 12 pounds before falling off the wagon. I seem to always come back and join everyone here, then I fall off the wagon! You don't even want to know how many times I have come back (been a member since 2006), I am sure you get the idea, lol...

I became pregnant with my second baby (did not gain any weight - thankfully) soon after I fell off the wagon the last time. Now that I have more time, I have decided to start again! I really want to be healthy, so I am determined to stay focused. Anyway, good to see everyone again.

Hi Mommy! Welcome back!! I've been a member here since 2008, and here I am still close to the beginning of my weight loss. In fact, even after losing this latest 31 lbs, I still weigh more than when I first signed up here. It's discouraging to think of how many times I've started this before, only to fail. Makes me wonder how THIS time will be different and stick long term. The only thing I'm coming up with is that I have learned a lot in the last couple years and I BELIEVE, truly have faith, that my head and heart are in the right place to DO IT THIS TIME!!!

Hope to see you around a lot!

Hi Mommy, welcome back.

It seems as though being a Mom is very special to you. It's your username, and you mentioned it again in your OP. I'll tell you what, If you want to be the best Mommy you can possibly can be, lose this weight for your kids. If you can't seem to do it for yourself, do it for them. With 100 pounds or more off, you will be AMAZED, I mean absolutely AMAZED at how much more you can do, how much easier they are to hold, to play with, to stay awake with.

For me, every aspect of being a Mom is so much better now that I got rid of the weight. My kids are proud of me too. It's awesome to be a good role model for them and to actually live life with them.

You can do this, but if you don't think you can do it for yourself, do it for them because they will thank you for it. It really does benefit them more than you can imagine at this point.

Welcome back! I too have recently come back to 3fc and I am already enjoying everyone and the support is so phenomenal as you know if you have been here before. Isolation feeds my disease, and allows me to eat, so I have made a conscientious effort to post at least once a day. I wish you all the best with your goals, and hope to get to know you better in the coming weeks. Take care

Thank you Lori, I agree with what you said. I will do this for my kiddos and myself. Your words were very encouraging and what I needed to hear to prepare mentally for this life long journey.

PJK... Welcome back. I know what you mean about isolating yourself. I did that too (I am trying to comment more frequently). It is difficult to not only eat healthy 24-7, calorie count/or something similar, exercise, but to be focused mentally and emotionally as well. It gets overwhelming sometimes. However, I am going to give it the best I can and find motivation among the threads when I feel myself sliding... Good luck to you on your journey.

Ambie, I would love to have a weight loss buddy... I have never had one before, but I think that I might have been missing out an important step to the journey because of that.

Kitsey, I am feeling very good about this time. I really want to lose it and to be healthy. I think that posting daily will help keep us in sight of our goal.

Welcome back ladies! Hopefully we can be friends and work together!
