Southern, I'm so sorry for your loss. Good job getting back on track!!

Wanna, welcome! I think I have a dull life too LOL. My animals make it interesting to say the least.

Cyn, I'd NOT do well there in that heat. It's 92F here. I lost a quart of water just doing yard work (lost 2 lbs). I'm eating a few corn chips for some salt and drinking water now. On second bottle.

Stupid TOM. At least I got all the yard work done. Next is laundry. I still have a grocery store run, but I'm in mah undies trying to keep cool and I don't feel like getting dressed hehe. I guess I'll go later after things cool off a bit. I'm probably going to lay down and moan a bit. First day of TOM is cramp-city.

Hugs,
Ratkity

Good Saturday Morning all,

Rat:Stupid ole TOM messes with us doesn't he! Hope you get your chores done little by little. :)

Lindy: So sorry that you have been so ill. I'm glad that you have posted though. I was getting a bit worried.

Carol: Hi there

Southern: Hugs and I'm so sorry about your sister. Glad you are back.

Angela: Nice to meet you and see you post :)

It is sunny here finally and I am so thrilled with that. Hopefully I will be outside in the sunshine moving my body.

Blessings all,
Annie

Morning all..

Yesterday I got a descent amount of housework done. Also some sewing done. I went to walmart and got a new shirt. All my clothes are so big especially up top. The shirts just hang. I also went bra shopping. NOW..I had to try on several because of the weight I have lost I had no idea what size I wear. I was at a 54DD..I am now at a 50D. I can ALMOST buy a bra at walmart. The largest they have is 48DD. DOing the happy dance.

Today...I am makin ribs and watching movies of when I was a kid. My brother is suppose to come over too. When my grandparents died, my uncle had the old VHS and the reel to reel ones put on DVD. I have not watched them since they have both passed away. I am calling today sappy sunday. ;)

Tomorrow I get my upper GI done. Not sure when they are going to do the stomach emptying test. Soon i hope.

I was looking at cabin rentals in Estes Park Colorado last night. I soo long to want to live there. I read that on Halloween (mine and hubbys favorite holiday) they close down the main street and everyone dresses up and trick or treats. Hubbys birthday is Nov 1st. I am thinking that is where we will be for his 40th!

HAPPY SUNDAY to Everyone - hope you are all doing well.

WELCOME to new people and those returning. Funny, I don't consider myself 'new' anymore!

SOUTHERN - My thoughts and prayers are with you. I grew up in the deep south and I think my family knew how to deep fry everything and they knew you feed a cold, starve a fever and you stuff grief (literally with food and emotionally stuff it away). Getting a handle on this is not easy and you are doing amazingly well to get back on track so quickly!

CYN- Sure hope the gastro figures out what is going on and helps! Colorado is beautiful. I lived in Vail during my 20's but can't handle the altitude or cold now.

ANGELA - So glad you found us! I haven't been here long and I can tell you these ladies have inspired me so much - hope we can do the same for you!

WANNA - Welcome - There are positives to a quiet life, and if you compare your life to mine you would not find it dull. I spend most of my time in an 11x12 room in a hospital bed. But we have such creative minds that even I find life exciting.

RATKITY - Your life looks so exciting to me. I am looking forward to camping and gardening and going to the store. But the best part of your life that I pray to replicate is the fact that you encourage people and touch our lives. That's pretty exciting!

CAROL - Speaking of exciting lives - tell us about your Alaska adventures!

PINK - You are hanging in there and I'm proud of you. Can't wait to see the pics of your room. I've got hubby convinced to let me turn our guest room into a craft room.

ANNIE - SOOO glad you are feeling better. I really am hoping you get to do the job with water aerobics - you would be so good at it!

CatherineM - Hope you are doing well. Your story inspired me a lot and I think about you often.

I am feeling SO MUCH better. Back to my healthy diet. Got a little fridge full of healthy food so I can eat right even when hubby picks up fast food. The smell of it tempts me sometimes and other times the greasy smell makes me ill. Hopefully, someday, I will not want the bad stuff at all. I still miss chips a great deal and carrot/celery sticks are just not the same! But I know life is worth giving up chips.

Blessings - Lindy

UGHGHGHGH.

I weighed myself yesterday and I was UP 4 LBS!!! WTH???

So yesterday and today I have been eating everything I can get my hands on.

Please, someone, convince me its worth it to keep trying and it will come off? Right now I feel just like I'm destined to be fat no matter what.

PINK - put down the fork! Love yourself enough to find something to do that isn't about food. Do something messy and crafty so you can't eat at the same time. Paint a picture, so some origami, make postcards to send to friends.
LOL - Lindy
