OK - this thread is waaaaaaaaaaay to quiet. Let's hear some motivating chatter this week. What's up with everyone?

I've been doing great and the scale is ever so slowly heading in the proper direction - actually March was a big month for me - minus 4 lbs. I cooked a turkey breast for myself for Easter - guess I'll eat on it all week.

So where's everybody at? See you all soon!

I'm OP.

Got very little sleep last night. The dog asked to go out every half hr. from 10 PM thru 3 AM. I stayed home to get her a Vet's appt. (and some sleep.) She's napping now. She has the bane of many females ... a urinary tract infection. Hopefully now that she's on meds, we'll sleep tonight.

Back to work tomorrow.

Hi Ladies!

I'm still struggling with some food issues...but doing GREAT with exercise. Today was an awesome food AND exercise day! I took a cardio kick-boxing class for an hour at work and then I went to the gym and worked with my trainer for well over an hour....also a very cardio intense workout. I may not be able to move in the morning, but I feel great!!!

Yesterday I biked a 16 mile, somewhat hilly trail. It was a beautiful Easter here.

This week is going to be very busy and you likely won't see much of me. I am leaving Thursday morning to head to MN for work. I'll be working there on Thurs/Fri and then staying with a friend from Fri night til Sunday. I won't be home until late Sunday. It will be an active weekend, but also full of food and drinks. I'm going to do my best to keep all things in moderation.

Kids are up past their bedtime...must get them settled. Catch ya later.

Barb - I've been doing a water kick boxing class - kicks my tail. Great to see you!

Judy - poor pup - we went through that a few weeks ago - apparently very common in the spring according to the vet - darned grass. Hope she's on the mend.

Heather - I'm loving seeing clean beds awaiting planning/planting. Getting the plan laid out in my head for warmer days to come.

Had a great walk to/from my strength and conditioning class last night - think it burns more calories to walk in the wind - for once I was glad I wasn't a lightweight as I knew I'd blow away.

My challenge this week is to post every day - engage more - support more. Anyone else?

I went to my dr appointment yesterday and my blood pressure is still running a bit high. She added a water pill(lowest dose) to my blood pressure med. She thinks I maybe holding fluid and not really realise it. If it doesnt come down then I will have to increase my blood pressure med back up.
I had a great day with food and exercise yesterday.
Im putting a roast in the crockpot and will have that for dinner along with lots of veggies.

I'm home for this week--been very hectic trying to get caught up, meeting individually with students, etc.

Didn't manage to get any exercise in yesterday, so I'll have to double up today. In fact, that's probably what I should go and do next. Stopping in here is sending me back out. The weather's too nice not to go to my favorite walking spot. I'm off; back soon.

Since my son and I started homeschool, it seems I have less and less time to do things I want to do, and keeping in touch is falling through the cracks. I miss all of you!

Started a Pilates class last week. OMG! I feel all my core muscles now! I didn't know it was so hard, but I'm actually enjoying it. It's hard to do when you're ADD, but it seems to exercise my capacity to concentrate too.

Was kinda off on the points last week (going way over) but I think I'm back in line again. I'm really going to push myself to lose another 20 lbs. in hopes of lowering bp and A1c. I sooooo want to be off bp meds. I take lisinopril and it's working fine, but I've got a constant dry cough as a side effect. I'm really tired of the constant coughing!

Warmer weather coming soon, with the promise of more veggies!

Things are going good here. Food is pretty easy right now and exercise is daily. Its about time I got things back inline. Scales are moving downward. Does anyone else take a waterpill daily? I have noticed this week that my weight is less about 5pm than it is in the mornings.IS this normal?? Whatever I am loving seeing lower numbers and cant wait to post a loss. I have gained weight the last 2 challenges and am looking forward to posting a loss on this one.
Have a great day everyone...
oh Carol our spring like weather is gone also...i think it left with the storms we had last night.

Looks like a storm is ready to roll in. 80º+ today. Low 40º's tomorrow. Boy is it windy!

Went to w/i today. Down another .8 Lb.

I've got to put together more than 2 POP days in a row. grrr

Deb: Glad to hear your seeing the scales move in the right direction. Yeah!!
I have water pills I just never remember to take them.

Hi Carol, Georgia, Angela, Heather and everyone else.

I'm so excited - I'm having my BMR both resting and while exercising tested. I've been looking for a facility that does it for about a year. It will be fantastic to find out my personal burn rate.

Tomorrow morning finds me in a new role - I'm teaching the water aerobics classes tomorrow - that was not something I ever thought I'd be doing.
