w00h00 Sharon!!!
I had my pre-op appointment with the anesthesiologist nurse today. She was really nice. I got a mocha latte at the hospital java cart and about gagged. They must have put a ton of choc syrup in it! Alas. I'm so used to The Bucks lol. I'm trying not to get panicky about my surgery. Only slightly this way today. Thanks heatherb!!! Sorry you have to get online via your Wii.. lol... You know you are addicted to the internet when... you have to use a game console to get your net fix. Hugs to all, Ratkity |
I am back after a hiatus of who knows how long! Let's hope I stick with the plan and the website as well as I know it helps to connect with others. I have another grandbaby now too. She was born a month ago today. Her name is Lily. See you soon!

SO the final test was sitting..would they squeeze me so bad I cant breath..NOPE!!! They fit perfect!! OMG ladies..I can finally wear JEANS!! I just ahve to take the bottom of the legs in apparently they thing everyone ankles are the size of their thighs.. I was so happy I cried this morning!!!! I believe I still weigh 294..BUT I must be loosing inches! YEAH! |

Hugs, Ratkity |
Hi Toni, good to see ya!
Cyn, YaY for the jeans fitting!! what a great feeling that is!! Ratkity, You're going to be one hot mama once you get down to where you want to be. Biker Chick is going to rule!! I'm doing ok. My choices here lately arent the best. Lots of stress going around here with my son going in the Navy and possible being shipped off to Haiti. I'm hangin' in there though. |
Debbie at least he wil be helping people & not having to kill them. I hope your faith helps you, be proud your son will be doing a fantastic job, I hope it brings him joy, there's nothing better than helping those in genuine need.xxxxxxx
Ratkitty, ick...isn't sugar poison when you're not used to it? Have you treated yourself to anything nice, you ought to, it will help you relax before surgery, a massage, fancy bubble bath, nice night clothes for hospital? xxxxxxxx Cyn, WTG, it's time you were happy, you've had so much stress just lately!xxxxxx Toni, WELCOME BACK!!! How are you? xxxxxx Riding my friend's part-Polish draught horse today, a bit scared in case I hurt my back mounting him but excited as she has a Western saddle & bridle for him now which will make mounting & dismounting harder but riding easier - I love my legs 'long' in stirrups. xxxxxxsharon |
Morning my Peeps!
Deb, your son will be doing great things in Haiti and in the Navy in general. I'm sure you are so proud of him. I am in awe of all the mothers and wives (and hubbies too) that kiss their loved ones and send them off to do brave and wonderful things. Sorta like sending off your little one to his or her first full day of school on a grander scale. Give him a hero hug from me! Sharon, ooooo, so lucky to get to ride! Do draft or draft mixed breeds have as much trouble as say quarter horses or other specific breeds? Horses seem so fragile with everything I hear that goes wrong with them from friends. Have a GREAT time riding! And yes, I am going to see Avatar this weekend and indulging in popcorn. The house needs one more "once over" for BikerMa. Cleaning ladies are coming over either Fri or early Monday. We are supposed to get a little snow on Saturday. Bleh. I already put my snow shovel away! Hugs to all! Ratkity |
Good morning all! It has been a very long week here and I had a few "bad" days but I realize why and what I was doing so I was able to snap back to reality! Had a Dr. appointment yesterday and we are going to try some progesterone pill's to see if we can get my body back to a "normal cycle". This 3 weeks of having a heavy period has me just drained! And not to mention the food cravings!! Still waiting on some tests but I am very proud of myself that I actually made a appointment and followed through on it. Has been 5 years since I seen a gyno. (was embarrassed to go because of my weight) So one feared concurred!

It's Friday! I'm super excited today because my GoWear Fit arrived at home today. :carrot: Can't wait to get home tonight and start figuring it out. Has anyone here used one or the BodyBugg? I'm hoping this helps me figure out where I need to make changes in my plan to kick things back in gear. I have been at the same weight for 10 days now and I am losing my mind. :dizzy:
I'm looking forward to a great weekend visiting my bestest friend in the world who I haven't seen since last October. I haven't told her about the weight loss, so I am excited for her to see me and her reaction. Gosh, I hope she notices. That would really bite, huh? Have a great weekend everybody! |
Well I went to the Dr on Friday. I have had these things on my arms for about a month or so. At first i thought it was just dry skin. Then they sort of looked round almost like ringworm. They itch but not all the time.
The dr said that it is a fungus caused by yeast. I seriously do not know if I believe her. I am always skeptical about a dr just looking at something and knowing right off what it is. What threw me off about it was she asked if I have alot of yeast infections, which I have never had one. She said that it could be just now starting in my life. She said to stay away from all the "white" stuff and gluten stuff. I go to the gasterologist on the 10th I am going to ask him too. I mean how do you eat with out bread and such?? Hubby siad I should get a 2nd opinion. I asked her if I should see a derm for it she said no. To put lotramin on it and stay away from yeast. Has this happened to anyone here? She said that could be my stomach problems as well. |
Cyn, I used to have yeast in my intestinal tract and it was **** on earth.
I had a successful weigh in on Friday, 4 pounds gone. Yay! My writing stuff down plan is the only thing that works, I wonder why I stopped doing it? Oh yes, I remember, I wanted to eat like a pig with no consequences or reminders. Duh. |
I've been down for a few days. I had a nose bleed that went for 3+ hours, and it took some time for me to get my fluid level back up and my strength back. I'm feeling like my old self today though. I get these about once a year. The only way to fix it is to have surgery that involves peeling my face back, and I'm not going anywhere near that. Sure scared himself. At least I didn't end up in the hospital. The last time I had to go to the hospital with one was about 3 years ago.
