Debi, YAY for the inches gone! I think I like seeing that more than the scale going down. You've done an awesome job so far this year. Can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings you.

Annie, Aw, so glad you didn't get hurt but I can just imagine the look on your face when Bear did that. I love to mow the lawns too. It just feels good to get out there and get two things accomplished at the same time...a good walk and beautiful yards. Yep, get ready for the rains!

Julia, nothing can mess up carpets quicker than kids and furbabies!! I'll be thinking of you as we do ours!

Carol, Happy Anniversary!! Sorry hubby is away but have some wine and think about all the great years you've had and those you still have ahead of you.

Jenn, as hard as it is to get down on the hands and knees to scrub, "I" would definitely count them as exercise minutes!!!

Catherine, sorry your getting down because of your instructor. Wish there was something I could say to cheer you up. Try to go to the pool though, it just might make you feel better.

Today is carpet cleaning day. Didn't get it done yesterday and wanna get it done before the rains start tomorrow. Fun Fun!! Also joined the walking thread so have to get up and moving. Only did about 4000 yesterday. Each day I hope to improve.
Hope everyone has a productive and fun day!!

Hey all. I'm pissy today lol. Still on my TOM and my weight is like pissing me off, have to stop weighing myself until I'm done with TOM. My boyfriend hurt my feelings last night and since then I've been a bit aggressive privately. I don't take out my crap on people if I can help it. So, I took it out by getting through my aerobic workout and then defrosting the freezer. The ice suffered my wrath as I hacked away at it.

As soon as I got up this morning I jumped into Word and created a document with my routine I want to FINALLY get my butt into. Along with that a long, very long, cleaning list. I think my apartment needs to lose weight too, so I'm purging, organizing, and my treat when it is all done is to purchase some eco-friendly candles and create a very nice environment. FREE OF STRESS! lol

I hope everyone is well. *super hugs*

I am constantly doing this! LOL but my mother is watching the kids next weekend here. DH company is hosting the safety awards night with dinner, dance and night in hotel. So I figured get the house into mom is visiting shape...only to find out inlaws are coming to for a bit. AHhh my mom, mother in law and father in law all in the house when I am not! I am paranoid that they will start going thru the cupboards! Better clean them this week too! And yes there will be another Cinderella scrub friday!

hi ladies...

I went to the Dr today. He said the wound is healing. He doesnt think there is any more infection in it. So he said to leave it packed til monday. Then take out the packing and just keep a bandage on it. He asked how my anxiety was. I said better. I am still going to go to counceling though. TOM came!!! Once this wound goes away I am going to go to the Gyno for that. Don't know what they will say but I think ALOT of my emotional self is hormonal.

I have a bit of a cough. I have had it for a few. I have allergies bad and constant drainage so maybe that is what it is from. So wound + TOM + coughing not a good combo!

I am going to my sisters later tonight. We are BBQing and playing cards. I will try and be positive. Usually when I have TOM I just want to curl in a ball and cry. I took MIDOL and decided to try and not do that.

Hubby is still visiting his sister. I miss him dearly. But I have my kids here with me.

I now weigh 322. I have not wieghed that in 10 years. Once this wound heals it is full force with loosing the weight. I know I can do it. Maybe sometimes in life, having things happens makes us realize to get our butts in gear. I have no excuse for being this heavy other then being LAZY. I know it takes time to loose.

Good afternoon all...

I have come here a few times today..both times decided not to write. I feel like lately all I do is come and complain about something. BUT this time i decided to write.

Although it will be complaining I know everyone here listens and wishes me well. I love that about this place.

Although my "wound" is better I feel like I am getting a cold or even bronchitus. I say that because I was with my aunt last week and that is what she has. So I am coughing my head off and gota runny nose. I go back to the Dr on Thursday and I will see what he says about it

Greetings my peeps!

My sister thinks I am on the cusp of perimenopause..eeeeep! The reason? I was soooooo tired on Saturday. I woke up at 7:30 after 7 hrs of sleep and felt like I was drugged. I went back to sleep and slept another 3 hours. Woke up and mowed the lawns, then showered and went back to sleep. Geeeesh. I feel better today. Made sure I had my vitamins. Sis said she read about that extreem tiredness is a symptom of perimenopause. hrm.. it's also a symptom of african sleeping sickness (hehe) as well as many other things.

Today is a cool rainy day. I managed not to do anythig either except read the paper.

Cyn, I'm glad your wound is healing. I have a rash this morning. First heat rash of the season. It's right where the leg of my undies rubs. UGH. I have some caladryl clear on it to dry it out. I'll keep it clean and dry. Don't need it blossoming into a full blown staph infection.

I bought salad fixings (*gasp* green things in my frig!). It's baby steps forward!

Oh, Annie, I thought of you today. Was listening to Sirius radio in the car and heard Eye of the Tiger. Had to crank it up.

Catherine, time to get your tail end in the pool, even if you have to drag Himself with you for support.

Speaking of pools, I'm so jealous GGG. My big sis moved into a temporary house and it has a pool! I'm going to have to visit her this summer. If they weren't so expensive, I'd have one myself.

Hugs to all!
Ratkity

Happy Sunday all,

DH went to a race early this morning and I slept in Big time! I missed church. Luckily they repeat the service on Thursday night so both of us can go together.

Kaylee: as for my exercise routine it varies. I ride my recumbant exercise bike for at least an hour on the days that I do that. I use an exercise machine similar to a Gazelle called a Cloud Walker for at least a 1/2 hour every other day. I ride my regular outside bike as often as the weather permits for at least an hour at a time when I can. I weight lift 3 times a week and I do situps and push ups daily. My newest cardio workout is going to be bouncing on the trampoline. DH and I got one yesterday and I tell you what, it works you out big time. It is so fun but I was actually sweating. That rarely happens easily for me and after only 5 minutes I was sweating. I will add that in. IF I can, my favorite exercise is swimming. I don't care for water aerobics but I do love to swim, swim and swim. I don't get to do much of that because of cost and although there are tons of lakes and rivers around here, I have turned into a weinie when it is too cold since I have lost so much weight. I just get cold very easily. I hope that information helps. One thing I will say is do something you enjoy. That will make your workouts way better. Good luck finding the right one for you.

Debbie: Great job joining the walking thread. I started walking with my weight loss surgery support group on Thursday of last week and it was fun. I especially liked how I didn't get out of breath. That was amazing for me. I was chatting and walking at a quick spead and didn't get out of breat once.

Jacquie: Great de-stres plan.

Julia: Sounds like my biggest nightmare to have my inlaws and my parents together without me to referee. lol.

Cyn: Glad that the wound is healing. I hope that you don't get sick too. Hugs.

Rat: You crack me up. I bet we would have so much fun just hanging out.

Carol: Hi there hon. How are you doing without ED? I hope well.

As I mentioned to Kaylee, yesterday Joel and I got a 14 foot trampoline for free. It is in perfect shape and it is sooooo much fun. It is such a workout for me though. I was bouncing for 5 minutes and got os winded. I am planning on incoorporating it into my workout schedule. I did it in 5 minutes increments for about 30 minutes total yesterday. Fun and exciting.

Well, I guess I am all caught up for now. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Blessings all,
Annie
